Ray was very quick to respond to my initial enquiry, and clearly outlined the pricing and availability for coming out. As our situation wasn't an emergency, Ray's team were able to come out the next day and cleared the blockage in our internal drain within 10 minutes. The member of the team carrying out the work was very professional, kept the place tidy, and explained the issue and the solution. I would certainly not hesitate to use EMS plumbing contractors again.

We used EMS Plumbing Contractors early in the year for two separate (unrelated) blocked drain issues. Both times Ray responded quickly to the initial inquiry and gave clear information about the cost and timeline. Both issues were sorted quickly by Stewart who was great about explaining what he was doing and the likely causes of the problem. Would definitely use again!

Our external drains were backed up with sewage. EMS were quick to respond and send out someone who unblocked the drains in no time at all. Very happy with the service.

I had a blocked external drain. The blockage was causing waste to come back up all the drains into my garden. EMS dispatched Stewart, a drain clearance specialist. Appointment was for 9 and he showed u[p at 8:50. The manhole cover in the property, which should have given access to the main outlet was not obvious so Stewart explored a few other options before dispatching the pressurised drain snake down one of the main soil pipes. It cleared the blockage immediately. He cleared up efficiently and hosed some of the waste off my garden back into the drainage system. He was friendly and efficient and did exactly what was required by 9:40. The price was pretty much the same for the other options I explored.

Had blocked drains from kitchen and contacted EMS Plumbing. I initially left a voicemail but within 5 minutes Ray returned my call and arranged for an engineer, Stewart to come the following morning. Stewart was great (he even took his shoes off to get into the house as it was raining outside and didn't want to get my house dirty!), and the blockage fixed without issues. Had an issue with blocked drains so got in contact. Very quick response to the initial enquiry, quick follow up and visit, problem solved quickly and efficiently. Quite high initial call out charge but worth it for speed and efficiency of service.

I originally got in touch to get a quote regarding a blocked drain issue we were having. After getting clear information about the cost, Simon came out very quickly and resolved the issue within 30 mins. He was also very polite and friendly throughout the visit, keeping me in the loop with how the work was progressing.

Had to get a new bolt replaced in the access cover of a downpipe. Part of the shank had broken off in the past and was allowing water to escape.
Ray has always been reliable and given good advice and I know I can trust his team to do great work.

24 and 25 September work done. Tricky job as had a seriously blocked old pipe full of gunk. Ray was brilliant at organizing and coordinating the complex job and his team members Norrie and Gary stuck at the job until it was done. Brilliant service and will use again as needed. Highly recommend

EMS plumbing carried out a repair to an underground drainage pipe in the tenement, as well as a cctv inspection of a downpipe.
Very pleased indeed with the quality of workmanship, knowledge and attention to detail.
Ray communicated quickly to the job needing done and was able to match the price of another contractors quote, doing a job that was long overdue for repair. Great communication too.

Contacted about a blocked interior drain. Fast and efficient communication to arrange someone to take a look. A mechanical drain snake was used to clear the pipes. Stewart was very polite and great at explaining what he was doing and why. Would definitely use again in case of future issues.

The engineer was excellent. Our sink was slow draining and water was coming up in the shower room.
Problem was fixed in 15 mins. Fast efficient reliable. Would use again.

Down pipe from gutters was totally blocked. Ray traced the problem, cleared it and replaced pipes as needed. Work was done to a high standard and very happy with results.

I had a leaking shower tray - it had been looked at before and ‘repaired’ but still leaked . EMS plumbing inspected the area thoroughly getting in a camera probe to identify the problem . It was a worthwhile investment. They recommended a replacement of the tray and waste andthe insertion of new shower panels over the existing tiles which was a very practical solution involving much less work .
They recommended a particular make of panel which looked really smart and when some wood framework had to be replaced beneath the tray they brought in their own man . The whole job was done over two days with the minimum disruption. They thoroughly cleaned up and left the room spotless . I was delighted with the work and thoroughly recommend EMS plumbing as l had previously had great difficulty getting the job even looked at . .
