Robin fitted a new door for me as the lock on my old door (around 30 years old!!) had stopped working.

Great service, very knowledgeable about his products and my new door has been fitted with a very clean and tidy finish.

Robin made adjustments to the alignment and handles of my upvc front and back doors. Before the work the doors were draughty and the handles were sticking, but now they are air-tight and working perfectly. Robin was great at communicating upfront what work he could do and how much it would cost, and he was friendly and reliable, arriving at the time he had arranged to come. He also made a follow-up call to advise me on sourcing replacement parts. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing work done on upvc windows or doors.

I recommend this trader highly for excellent work and he is pleasant to deal with. He did remedial work, repairs, new window handle and servicing on all my DG windows and doors. These were quite old windows purchased from another trader well over 10 years ago. Mr Black has them all working better than when they were first fitted!

My husband and I recently moved house, and discovered that various handles on the double glazing in our new home were not working properly, or were broken. We found Mr Black's name through this scheme, and are very glad that we found him! He serviced all of our windows, and fixed everything for us, going above and beyond. He was on time, friendly, very knowledgeable and competent at his work, and very good value for money. Our door was also jamming from getting damp in the rain, and he fixed that for us too. It is lovely to have people like Mr Black available to sort out these stresses in life! We would absolutely recommend his services.

I contacted Robin regarding a problem I was having with rainwater coming in through cracks on my double glazed new door. I had tried to contact the installer but found out that the manufacturer of the door had gone out of business so there was no warranty. Robin explained that he might incur problems but took the job on anyway and I have to say he arrived when he said he would,was very nice and approachable and managed to fix the issue with the door and his rates are more than fair, would definatley use him again.

Robin was on time. He updated us on delivery of the product and any unforeseen delays. He was tidy, hardworking, honest and reliable.

I had two exterior doors replaced and fitted by Robin Black who had been recommended to me.

The quality of the doors are fantastic with Robin providing an immaculate finish to the surrounds. He was very meticulous in his work and this shows in the flawless finish.

From coming to assess the job through to the finished result, Robin regularly kept me up to date with the progress of our doors and likelihood of when they would arrive.

Another huge bonus was he took every scrap of materials, dust, debris away with him, leaving nothing for me to clean up afterwards.
