Murray replaced/installed eleven internal doors to doorways which were mainly not of standard size, so a complex job. He was conscientious and meticulous in his attention to detail throughout and he always swept up at the end of each day - a bonus for us! We found Murray to be very personable and easy to deal with and he always checked with us if there were choices or decisions to be made. We are delighted with the result and would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him to others.

From our first contact with MF Joinery, we were impressed with Murray’s professionalism and ‘can do’ approach with nothing being too much trouble. We replaced all of our internal doors, door facings and skirtings which also required some remodelling to replace glass panels previously in place and to extend and fit wardrobe space. Murray was careful and tidy with all of the work being carried out to a very high standard and we were happy to give him a key in order to progress the job whilst we were away. We are really pleased with the work done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Murray’s services.

We had a number of rooms which Murray replaced doors and skirting boards and installed new flooring. Murray also supported with placing mirrors, shelving and building cabinets and a desk. Everything was perfect and carried out to a high standard. We would highly recommend Murray and will certainly be using his services again.

We bought a house that needed quite a bit of repair and refurbishment and found MF Joinery through this website. Murray Fraser gave us good advice and patiently answered endless questions with quiet good humour. We needed an en-suite shower replaced, a bathroom completely remodelled, various carpentry projects, repairs and a lot of flooring laid. As the work progressed we noticed various other little jobs that needed doing and Murray coped with everything very competently. All work was done carefully and well and we were entirely satisfied with all that Murray did. The house will need further work later in the year and we will ask MF Joinery to do the job.

Murray has now replaced the facia on our porch and rear of the house, layed heat conducting laminate flooring, fitted solid oak doors throughout the house, and fixed floating shelves (when the job was not originally listed!). As well as immaculate workmanship, Murray is so patient (when we can’t decide on products/style!). Communication is good and timely.We would not think of reaching out to anyone else. Murray has now done a number of home improvement jobs for us. You are always a bit nervous when letting tradesmen into your home, however, Murray’s work is of such a high standard we were so reassured and had no reservations in securing his amazing skills in a number of projects. I’ve asked Murray to do a few jobs for me including installing double glazing, blocking up a fireplace, knocking out cupboards and replacing plasterboard. He’s always been reliable and helpful and does a good job. The windows took a few days to install (15 of them!) and they were finished off on the inside by being boxed in and I’m really pleased with them as I wasn’t sure what to expect having only used DG firms before. I’m amazed at his breadth of knowledge and he’s happy to explain what the job will entail and then gets on and does it. Ive got loads more jobs for him to do I’m sure!

We recently had a new bathroom fitted and throughout the whole process Murray was great, and we are extremely happy with the end result.

I had 3 new doors fitted and 1 doorframe adjusted. The work was done to a very high standard, and very little disturbance to me. He was very courteous and kept me informed throughout the work. I would have no hesitation in using him again.
