We octogenarians cannot thank Alasdair enough. Our old very unreliable boiler broke down yet again and the weather was bitterly cold. Alasdair went out of his way to find a new suitable replacement boiler locally and managed to get the last one available. The job was done thoroughly, quickly and tidily. Supplied and fitted a Hive heating control (thermostat, hub etc.). Communications beforehand were clear, the work was done on time and Alasdair explained what he was doing. We're very happy with the product and the service provided.

As a landlord people think you’re a high roller and charge over the odds or they leave you waiting and let you down in my experience. AC Sharp were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I needed a Gas Safe check and a valve repair. Fantastic value but more so, the service was absolutely flawless. I feel like I want to shout it from the rooftops as it was so impressive. Just moved to the area and needed a new boiler and additional radiator fitted because of the boiler I got I ended up getting the smart thermostats as well.

Excellent job. The engineer responded to an emergency breakdown call today arranged by Admiral Home Insurance. He arrived within an hour, identified the fault quickly and replaced a motorised valve, which he had as van stock. The work was carried out in a very professional, tidy and clean manner.

Alasdair was recommended by our Insurance Company and when they deemed our boiler irreparable we asked Alasdair if he would take on the job direct. He did this immediately and even though it was adverse weather conditions he replaced our boiler on the day quoted, ploughing his way through snow. We required a new boiler. After speaking to AC Sharp Central Heating and receiving an estimate the work went ahead. Our new boiler was fitted in a day and a half. Alasdair explained how the boiler worked and tidied up after work was complete. Everything was covid secure.

Had a bad experience of a plumber/heating engineer previously, so used Angus Trusted Trader. I was very pleased with the work carried out. Reliable, helpful, gave good advice and I have now happily recommended to another person.

If there is a bad time for your central heating boiler to pack up it is the weekend. If there is an even worse time for it to pack up, it is during the Coronavirus lockdown. Then to make matters worse the broken boiler starts to leak - HELP!
We are put in touch with Alasdair Sharp who came along in the evening and confirmed our worst thoughts, we needed a new boiler or a £1,000 plus repair. Our boiler was 14 years old so not surprised, making it an easy decision.
Next day we had a price for boiler replacement, subject to getting materials in lockdown conditions. We were happy with price so go ahead given. Should at this point mention my wife and I are in our late 70's so with no heating and no hot water we were in a vulnerable group so Alasdair was not breaching lockdown rules. Having accepted his estimate he even secured a boiler upgrade at no extra cost to us. By the following weekend we had a new boiler with 10 year guarantee fitted and working with minimal hassle. Work was carried out efficiently, we were kept advised at all stages, he arrived for work when he said he would and was a pleasure to have in the house even keeping 2 metres apart! On completion he hoovered up the work area. Result is two cosy happy pensioners.

Alistair has done numerous jobs from fitting radiators coming to my aid when had a breakdown to fitting our bathroom very efficient trustworthy pleasant and would definitely recommend and would not use anyone else keep our local tradesman busy 10/10
