Replace ridge tiles and patch gaps on ex local authority semi detached house with original roof which is over 70 years. EXEMPLARY: I had contacted numerous firms and individuals roofers to quote for a repair to our roof, some came out, some were a no show, some came out without telling me until I contacted them only to be told they couldn’t do it! First call to Henry Harvey resolved this immediately! Came out to assess the job next day, quote arrived two days later. Agreed to the job and a week later it was completed, this was despite having certain roof tiles that are difficult to source. All the lads doing the work were friendly, chatty and polite. Job is completed to a very high standard and the lads made sure they left the area clean and tidy.
Cannot praise and rate this firm highly enough and wouldn’t fail to use them again if required.

Replacement of valley flashing and associated lead work on roof above bay windows. Replacement of damaged slates throughout.
Repointing of brickwork to the front of the house, due to erosion over the last 35 years. From the initial visit from Jim, their surveyor, through to the installation team and with Henry Harvey, their service has been excellent.

A complete new roof was required stripped off all existing roof coverings. New timber counter battens, soffit boards, tiles roof. New render to Chimney.
Garage had addition timber to rafters new torch applied base layer to cap sheet area. All work was carried out to a very high standard, from the Scaffold to the clearing up went like clockwork. The boys were always polite and courteous and kept me informed every step of the way I wish every trade person performed their work like this a pleasure to deal with very pleased.

The company started and finished the work when they said they would and kept the site safe and tidy at all times. We are pleased with the appearance of our new roof and with the remedial work to the company.

Remove all existing roof coverings and plasterboard decking. Fit new decking boards and breathable membrane. Renew flat roof to dormer.
Renew cladding and lead flashings to dormer. Tile roof. Clear away all debris. All work was carried out to the high standard we were confident Henry Harvey would provide. The squad involved were a credit to the company. Any questions asked during the work were answered promptly and politely, The work area was cleaned at the end of each day. In short, my wife and I are totally delighted with the standard of work and the final outcome and would recommend the company to anybody without hesitation.

Primed existing coverings. Torch applied 5KG mineral cap sheet of polyester based felt.

Remove and replace flashing. Fit new cocca under tiles spray with silicone sealant once finished. Work completed efficiently and workmen were pleasant and explained what was done.

Replacement of large skylight inc, glass and leadwork etc Seems like a good job. As with most roofing jobs, only time will tell. But no reason to think there will be issues!

Replacement of missing dates bird spikes on chimney lab replacement of guttering. The company were very easy to deal with and provided a quote for the wash very quickly.

The actual work was carried out within a reasonable timescale.

Replacement of a substantial area of slate roofing where there had been water penetration. I was impressed from the start with Henry and his team, their concern for the customer, their professional knowledge and their pride in their work.
I had been left with a leaking roof by a previous roofer, and it felt as if Henry and his team went out of their way to make the necessary repairs as speedy and trouble free for me.
I really appreciated their efforts as the Covid-19 lockdown was imminent, and they completed in time.

Clean & re-fix broken tiles and replace missing tiles Re the question relating to quality, I cant see the roof so assume all works complete. Before starting work I received an estimate and called them to discuss time frames and payments. Good service overall.

Full renewal of bungalow roof - new wood lining, top quality felt, battens and tiles. Renewed guttering.
Full new flat roof in garage. Replacing a whole roof is a challenge. Even just getting a reliable tradesperson to give a quote and feel you can trust them.
Henry visited at agreed time and provided a detailed quote within couple of days.
It showed using top quality materials - he won''t compromise by using lesser products. The price isn''t cheap BUT, other quotes I''d had were similar or higher and weren''t as detailed to show the brand''s of materials to be used. One much cheaper one I had was clearly using cheap stuff and had no details.
Henry also provides an insurance backed guarantee.
My bungalow had several "faces" and gullies and is right on the shore, so gets blasted.
Once I''d agreed the job, I was given a date soon after and an estimate of up to 2 weeks to complete.
Scaffolders turned up on first day and erected enough to hold up a fortress. The roofers arrived next day and worked from around 8-5.30 every day, including Saturday and most of Sunday. They hardly stopped all day. There was usually 2 teams, sometimes seemed even more. The job was finished 8 days later and looks fabulous. Several neighbours commented on how well the teams worked and were impressed enough to have their roof work done as well.
The whole place was totally cleaned up. A couple of very minor snags were quickly dealt with (a great measure of a quality trader, as there was no question - just "we''ll be right down to sort it).
There were other things, I asked him to install two sun pipes which he added in for free. I wasn''t expecting new guttering, so that was even better. He even put up a new Sky dish as they had to break the old rusty one off to get scaffold in place.
I later needed to renew the separate garage flat roof. I had no hesitation in getting a quote from Henry. Again, top quality materials. The two guys did the job in one day and I could see the difference in quality from the old one. More solid, better finishes and again, properly guaranteed.
Both have been well tested over the winter and especially the last two storms and I''ve had no problems whatsoever. Previously I could expect to lose a tile or two from the old roof or get water in the loft.
For a roofer to turn up anytime he says he will, do the job on schedule and deliver any excellent finish, is hard to find.
