Solar panels fitted. Work was carried out as planned and at no inconvenience to us. Everyone was friendly and polite.

We have had a battery pack installed as well as additional PV panels being added to our 10 year old system. The system is set up to store excess electricity produced by the PV panels in the battery as well as to sell any excess remaining back to the grid. The system also enables us to charge up the battery via the grid at 'off-peak' times when the price of electricity is very cheap. The 'world' of battery storage and linking this to an existing PV system was all new to us. It has taken us quite a bit to 'get our head round' everything. Ewan and his team have done a very good job advising us on the options that were available and explaining the benefits/pitfalls of each. The installation and commissioning process was undertaken extremely efficiently, quickly and with minimal disturbance by Ewan and his colleagues. The 'guys' who did the work in and on our house were thoughtful and helpful at all times.

The work was of a very high standard, from the beginning they listened to our questions and supplied 3 quotes and on the day of installation the men fitting the solar panels and frame were quick and efficient. The battery system plus inverter installation was carried out with great care and precision and very cleanly.

Information and advice was good and after care given very willingly.

Installers arrived first thing in the morning, got to work straight away and were gone by the afternoon.

The job was completed with no mess or hassle, working on my 2.4KW Solar PV installation. I will be considering expanding this setup in the coming years.

Had 16 Solar panels installed. Very competitive price and in our eyes, value for money. They were happy to help with any queries.

I'm located in Central Belt but decided to use a Borders company based on a recommendation from a friend who had a good experience in his house & parents house.
From the outset communication was clear, concise & informed.
Staff doing installation were efficient & tidy. To date happy with all aspects of job.
Time will tell on the long term quality but based on what seen so far if there are issues comfortable we'll have no issues with on going support as needed.

I would highly recommend S&P Renewables, from the moment we contacted them until the job was completed we were treated exceptionally. We installed a 12 panel, 2 battery and inverter system. The price was very competitive and I wanted to use a local company and we are delighted we did.
All the staff in the office and on site were very professional, friendly and very helpful any questions we had were dealt with quickly and in a professional manner.
Ewan and all the staff are extremely knowledgeable. A few days after the installation was completed Ewan called to ensure everything was in order and answered a few questions I had, he also gave me some excellent tips on getting the most out of the system, that information helped us immensely and even in late December and now January we are already seeing our grid supplied electricity decrease.

Would highly recommend. We had an 18 panel array with a hybrid inverter and 9kw battery system.The team did a fantastic job and were courteous and professional at all times. Their aim is to please and they certainly did that. They did the complete job in difficult weather conditions in two days and left a tidy site and very happy customers.

S&P Renewables fitted solar panels, inverter and batteries at the start of the week.
Beforehand, they gave us a clear breakdown of how the system would work, the amount of energy it was likely to produce, and the advantages and disadvantages of different set ups. And of cost.

We accepted their quote, and received a call a couple of weeks later to arrange installation date, a few days later. The team arrived as we had been told , and were friendly and efficient. The work is all tidy, and our panels are churning out energy ( sunny week in November). We had a couple of questions related to the app, and received an answer straight away.

It's one of the best things we have done to our house renovation. A fantastic company who steered us to the right product for us . The work carried out was very good ..clean quick and we have not had any problems at all .the technology was explained in a way which we can understand and we have been so happy with all that was done ..I would highly recommend this company great price great job and great ongoing results

We have used S&P Renewables twice now to install and then add more PV Solar Panels and Battery Storage and I could not recommend them highly enough. They were quick, good value, efficient, professional and their engineers were always on time, very knowledgeable and nothing was ever a problem. Excellent.
We have a really good solar, storage and EV charging setup here now - and, calculated back over the past full year, taking advantage of really low off-peak rates, the Feed in Tariff (on the old system) payments received quarterly, and the efficiencies of the system, we have almost no energy costs for the house or charge costs for the car.
Before getting the the solar panels, the battery storage and the EV, we were paying about £1200 per year for electricity and gas combined, and were buying petrol at between £200-£250 per month / £2400 - £3000 per year - but these days are more or less gone now!
Yes, we do need to manage our energy usage carefully and efficiently, changing our approach when there is less sunshine, especially over the winter - but we should all do this anyway, regardless.
Yes, there is an investment involved (we are very happy with a payback period) but the best thing we ever did was getting in touch with S&P Renewable for honest advice and guidance and trusting them to help us future proof our home.

Installation of solar panels with battery storage.
Ewan was very helpful in the design of the system taking cognisance of our requirements to allow for potential future ev use and the staff were very polite and efficient with dealing with questions in the lead up to the installation.
The installation was undertaken very timeously and workmanship very neatly done. It was quite a large domestic installation and area for batteries was quite tight. The array layout had to be altered slightly due to roof shape and desired clearances.
Products offered and installed were similar to those advised by competitors hence value for money rating.
My ratings for product quality and reliability reflect that this is a new system, if the products match their literature claims then everything would be aok.

S&P advised us about and rectified the serious problems with an utterly incompetent solar panel installation carried out by another, criminally negligent, company. S&P's staff were unfailingly helpful, professional and knowledgeable. They rewired the system correctly and efficently and also installed batteries. We could not be happier with the results. The only regret we have is that we did not engage them to do everything in the first place.
