I contacted Sid to give me a quote for the bathroom which needed to be completely renovated.
Sid arranged a time and arrived when he said he would. Immediately I knew that he could be trusted and put me at ease giving me suggestions and advice with no pressure to use his service.
We arranged a date and Sid advised me in every step of the way, even going the extra mile and collecting the bathroom suite!

The work was completed in a timely manner and also kept me informed every step of the way ensuring that I was not inconvenienced.

All work was completed to an exceptionally high standard.

Sid was recommended to us from a friend who sang his praises in relation to quality of finish.

My wife spoke to Sid initially on the phone and arranged for him to come and visit us to provide a quote for a new bathroom. As soon as Sid left us, we knew straight away that he was the one for us. He spoke with such confidence showing his experience and of course the quote was fair for the work we had asked him to do for us.

After Sid completed the bathroom, we were immediately impressed with his work and quality of finish. He explained everything to us in relation to preventing leaks and how he installed the shower tray etc to prevent leaks and issues in the future. In a previous property, I had experienced a leak from the shower due to poor workmanship and Sid explained how he installed these items to prevent this ever becomming an issue for us. He aso provided excellent advice in relation to what would work in our bathroom in relation to heated mirrors, radiators, electric toothbrush holders etc. He also provided exellent advice in relation to extraction which led to relocating the extraction fan position and recommending a new (almost silent) extractor fan.

In the end, my wife and I were so impressed that we got Sid to quote for an additional 2 more bathrooms which he managed to squeeze into his workload to ensure we could get them compelted before Christmas. Again these were completed to such a high standard that we will definitly keep his details just in case we require any additional plumbing.

Apart from his work, he is also such a nice gentleman and can be trusted completely. I had no concerns what so ever in leaving him a key so the work could be carry on when we were at work. He always turned up when he said he was going to arrive and always cleaned up after himself and protected flooring throghout whilst working.

It was also an added benefit that he dealt with all trades such as the tiler and electrician, on our behalf, so it was just so much easier for us.

All in all, I would definitely recommend him to anyone and will use him again for any future needs.

I had a leaking tap and toilet which wouldn't flush properly. Also had a leak coming through communal stair ceiling which needed investigating. Sid contacted me promptly, came out when he said he would, explaining what he would be doing and was a pleasure to deal with. He had a lot of knowledge, and communication from him was clear from the start. I felt his pricing was reasonable too. All in all I would definitely recommend him and use the company again.

Bathroom refurb - new shower installed; old, water damaged bathroom walls and tiles replaced; water damaged bathroom floor replaced and new LVT flooring put down, and other minor ancillary work connected with refurbishment.

Bathroom project and plumbing in kitchen

Sid and his team were highly professional when carrying out the repairs to our en suite shower. They kept us fully informed at every stage and explained what work needed done and sought our approval before proceeding. They gave us a clear indication of costs and arrive promptly every day to carry out the work work with no fuss and left the rooms clean after the job was completed.. My wife said they were the nicest group of workers we have ever had in our house. We would be happy to use Sid and his team in the future and can't recommend them highly enough. .

I couldn't have asked for a better fitter. There was a lot of work to do and he got it done quickly, explained everything as he was going so I knew what was happening and the new shower and walls look beautiful.

I had a leak from my en-suite which had caused damage to bedroom, hallway walls and flooring , my kitchen/lounge/dining room ceiling walls and flooring. After having numerous other trades to find lies to no avail, DR Scotland were knights in shining armour. They used a thermal camera to locate the leak and then had to cut into ceiling to fix leaking pipe, they promptly got a quote to me for my insurance, who then authorised the work. DR Scotland got my house back with minimal fuss, always keeping me informed of progress, they are reliable, friendly, trustworthy and damn good at their job. Thank you so much. First class service. I contacted Sid when it was discovered that my mother's house in Dunblane had suffered a burst pipe from the water tank in the loft. He came round the very next day and gave me a full report on the scale of the disaster as I live several hundred miles away. I found him to be extremely helpful and considerate at this distressing time and he immediately sent me a quotation for the works. Unfortunately I was unable to instruct him until I had heard back from my insurance company, and in the end instructed a more local company who had been recommended by a neighbour. However, I would not hesitate to recommend him to any potential clients.

Gutting out and rebuilding fire/ smoke damaged areas of my flat.

The work was carried out quickly, cleanly, efficiently with no fuss. DR Scotland liaised with other vendors to optimise work for all parties.
Also were friendly, open with tips, and nothing seemed to be a problem.

I am delighted with the work standard, the commitment, and how quickly it was accomplished, to allow getting back into the property.

We wanted our bath taken out and part of the wall tiles removed and a walk in shower and glass screen installed. We had quite a few problems in the bathroom, stair head where the shower tray was going , sloped ceiling and our window . Sid solved all our problems, he built a small wall , gave us a seat in the shower and a glass screen with flapper and tiled with lovely white tiles which match our old ones. Our old shower was replaced and also the taps on the sink .
Nothing was straight forward ,our new ceramic kitchen sink needed a few alterations so it would fit but nothing was a problem they were all solved. Sid worked all day without a stop and arrived on time every day. The results are beautiful and could not wish for more .

We had a drainage problem which was looked at by 2 specialist drain clearing contractors who both said there was a blockage in the main drain in the driveway and they would require access to the manholes in the driveway to clear it. Access would have required lifting an area of the block paving and breaking through a concrete slab. It proved difficult to find anyone willing to carry out this work until we found Sid at DR Scotland. His response was immediate and first rate. He came out the morning after we spoke on the phone and rather than just assuming that the earlier contractors were correct, he carried out a thorough investigation identifying a blockage in a drain at the sink in the utility room together with other issues with the plumbing in of the washing machine and sink. The blockage was cleared, without touching the driveway, the following morning. Sid then re-assembled the utility room including replacing the sink unit and the the plumbing. Sid no doubt saved us money and was a pleasure to deal with throughout, always willing to go the "extra mile". I would certainly use Sid's services again and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

DR Scotland did a fantastic job with our en-suite. This was a fairly small room with limited space for manoeuvring but DR Scotland manged to fit the steam shower, sink and toilet with no fuss and to a really high standard. We had no idea what was behind a boxed wall and if our shower unit would fit. DR Scotland worked through the challenge and designed a new structure to replace the original to millimetre perfection.

Doesn't matter what the ask is, tiling, plumbing, electrics or problem solving it's done to a very high professional finish. I could not have asked for anymore, DR Scotland went on this journey with me and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for including a few things I didn't think were possible.

We bought an old property for my mum which needed total refurbishment, even down to an old cast bath, Sid came out on time when he said he would and gave us loads of ideas and lots more advice which was a big help for us. The bathroom needed a full strip out and reinstated, and the rest of house needed complete redecorating, new radiators, fully fitted mirrored wardrobes, etc. His costings were really good and he kept us updated the whole way through. The only tradesman to carry a hoover the place was spotless after every days work. Never stops for lunch or breaks but enjoys a plentiful supply of tea, milk one sugar Sid is very courteous and pleasant, and would highly recommend him to friends and family. Sid carried out a Bathroom renovation for us and we were exceptionally happy with his work. He attended to give us a quote at short notice. We were very pleased with the cost. He arrived on time everyday including the weekend and worked without a break all-day. I would certainly recommend his work which was to a high standard and thorough. He also cleaned up as he went.

Sid renovated our bathroom and en-suite shower room in our house which were in dire need of upgrading when we moved in. Both required full rip out and then he fitted the bathroom and shower suites and tiling of our choice. Advising and adapting as required through the works. He is tidy and extremely hard working and takes a lot of pleasure from his work which shows in his finishing. Would defo recommend Sid to do a good job of your bathroom or kitchen.

This man is a life saver !! I was getting my property ready to be put up for sale and the worst room was the bathroom. Sid completely renovated it from floor to ceiling and it is now looking and great.
I spoke to Sid about everything else that was needing done in the house as it was in a terrible state of neglect / disrepair / wanton filth and damage. This was thoroughly depressing as it was a cozy attractive family home when I left it 3 years ago.
I knew I would need professionals in to do the tasks that were beyond my DIY abilities. I would have taken months to do the DIY that I was faced with here. (I have been a keen DIY'er since my teens and I am now 61).
Sid was able to do the lot in under a fortnight. That involved putting up a new kitchen ceiling / papering / painting / replacing upvc window ledges / repairing holes in walls. He kept to his quote which my wife and I felt was reasonable. On completion, he had the house well within the acceptable standards of being presentable for putting up for sale.
When I received my home report, it was all "1's" apart from the 2x "2's" which had nothing to do with Sid's work.
Sid really knows his stuff and is very good at explaining your options on a project, so you shouldn't need to shell out money unnecessarily. He is also good at keeping you up to date with progress.
I can't fault him at all. My wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending him most highly.
