This man is a life saver !! I was getting my property ready to be put up for sale and the worst room was the bathroom. Sid completely renovated it from floor to ceiling and it is now looking and great.
I spoke to Sid about everything else that was needing done in the house as it was in a terrible state of neglect / disrepair / wanton filth and damage. This was thoroughly depressing as it was a cozy attractive family home when I left it 3 years ago.
I knew I would need professionals in to do the tasks that were beyond my DIY abilities. I would have taken months to do the DIY that I was faced with here. (I have been a keen DIY'er since my teens and I am now 61).
Sid was able to do the lot in under a fortnight. That involved putting up a new kitchen ceiling / papering / painting / replacing upvc window ledges / repairing holes in walls. He kept to his quote which my wife and I felt was reasonable. On completion, he had the house well within the acceptable standards of being presentable for putting up for sale.
When I received my home report, it was all "1's" apart from the 2x "2's" which had nothing to do with Sid's work.
Sid really knows his stuff and is very good at explaining your options on a project, so you shouldn't need to shell out money unnecessarily. He is also good at keeping you up to date with progress.
I can't fault him at all. My wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending him most highly.
