Business Information
My name is John Mullan and I'm a retired fire officer with 30 years' service and an additional 16 years as a Building and Facilities Manager in Glasgow's City Park.
I import, sell and fit interlinked smoke and fire detectors conforming to Scottish Government regulations introduced in February 2022 and now required in all homes by law. Insurance companies also invariably have a clause in the policy to the effect that the property complies with Building Regulations, within which the new regulations are included.
These radio frequency alarms are installed at very reasonable prices, typically £140 to £175, without mess or the need for expensive electrical work, and usually within a day or two of ordering. I'm happy to give an estimate on the phone and can take calls between 9.00am and 9.00pm.

Great service. Installed 1 HCAT alarm, 4 smoke alarms and a carbon monoxide alarm. Gave communication and certification to confirm that my home was fire alarm compliant. Job was completed in under an hour and with no mess. I would recommend to my family and friends.

John was pleasant when booking and through the process of installing the smoke detectors. He was upfront about the cost and was reasonably priced. He confirmed the appointment by text again a few days prior to coming and was on time. He was efficient and took very little time to complete the installation.
