Fixed my shower, installed kitchen appliances. Excellent job at reasonable price and friendly service. Top marks all round.

Replacement toilet and cistern,new radiator.Excellent work by David and Craig, Cleaned up as they went along, friendly and polite. So good to know there’s a local plumber available to do tricky jobs(old toilet had been glued to wall and floor).I thought the price was very reasonable and will use them again.

The service this company gives you is amazing. The quick response to our issue was dealt with after a phone call and the plumber was out. His attitude and manner was just lovely. Would highly recommend using this company.

Within the last two years - (1)kitchen waste pipe unblocked (2) boiler serviced.
With (1) I had to wait a bit because they were busy attending to premises with frozen pipes, while i knew my job was not an emergency, just an inconvenience.
(2) was done as planned with no problems.

Before covid, i had my bathroom converted to a shower room. The result was/is a great success - a job really well done!

Supplied and fitted new gas boiler. Work completed expertly and when finished tidied everthing up and left no mess. I have used this company a number of times over the years and have no complaints about their work.David and his team are friendly and efficient and would not hesitate to use them again.

Urgent burst pipe required on 23\12 phoned at 9.15 phone answered immediately was guaranteed a visit from the plumber in afternoon arrived 3.30 pm leaked fixed by 4.40 pm fantastic service

Boiler installed with annual service package. When service was due, we contacted Haran & Moffat owner in January and were told he 'would get back to us.' 5 other attempts to contact him were met with the same response, we will 'get back to you' Final Outcome - NOTHING. Very poor customer service.

Installed gas cooker and washing machine.
Fixed burst pipe under bathroom tiles.

The plumber was experienced and efficient. He did not stop working from when he walked in the door until he left. Cleared up any mess. Pleasant, hardworking and very good value for money. Very helpful

Gas pipe repair in top floor tenement, very difficult to locate the leak ,underfloor . Methodical search carried out until problem found and promptly repaired. Unrelated ongoing issue with Boiler also repaired quickly and professionally, excellent service.

Called-out at short-notice and their service was exemplary. I now have a fully functioning kitchen! Great service, polite manner and super efficient. Highly recommended.

Called in an emergency as water was pouring out my lavatory and cistern wouldn't stop pouring water into toilet without myself holding valve inside. David called me within 5 minutes to let me know someone would be round in 10 minutes and they were. Plumber that came round fixed the problem instantly and told me what happened and what to do if it happened again as I'm pretty clueless with all things house maintenance. Excellent service.

Had no hot water or heating, spoke to David who was round and fixed the problem within no time at all. Very helpful and also had a look at radiator which was working properly.

We had a new kitchen sink fitted by Haran Moffat. Really happy with the service from start to finish. Contacted via webform at the weekend and company called the following morning (Monday). Plumber was at my house at 9am on the Wednesday morning, really friendly and clear about the work that needed doing (larger hole cut etc).
Job completed in a couple of hours and new sink looks fantastic. Would recommend.

We have used Haran-Moffat twice, once at our old house in order to find a leak which resulted in a resealed bath, fixing the issue, and at our new house, to fix a leaking toilet and remove an old gas hob and fit a new one.

We were given a transparent quote upfront which they honoured, despite going over the time estimate (leak job was not as straigtforward as anticipated)

They attended the same day and didn't ask for money upfront etc, no exorbitant call out fee's etc.

The engineer who attended was well presented, polite, friendly, and cleared up after his work was done.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Haran-Moffat based on our experiences with them, but also having been stung by bogus workmen in the past, found via apparently commercially ran safe sites. This site is ran by Trading Standards and Police and so properly vetted. Pay cheap pay twice.

Had problem with boiler dripping water and making a high-pitched noise, despite having quite recently been serviced by another company. The engineer found the problem and was able to sort it out very efficiently and quickly, carrying out a much more thorough service, and explaining everything clearly. He could not have been more kind, pleasant and helpful, and Haran Moffat plumbing will definitely be my first port of call for any similar work in future.
