Young joinery supplied and fitted a new composite front door with side panels. No deposit required before the work was done. The wait period for delivery given by Youngs was spot on. Fitters arrived at 9am as promised and despite some challenges faced in removing the old door and framework they were all done in a few hours. Great service all round from this Business and they even send a lovely bunch of flowers after the work was complete. A great touch. Would have no hesitation in using again and would thoroughly recommend.

I had 2 internal black doors fitted and I am thrilled with them. From start to finish I was kept informed and given options and different examples so plenty choice. The two men who fitted the doors were very friendly and professional and no mess was left behind. Will defo use this company again and recommend. Just had my second door in a month, installed by this very professional local company. I have been very happy with the communication provided by Paul, Angela and Lisa in the office. The guys who actually did both installations were extremely proficient and respectful. Would definitely recommend Youngs Joinery to family and friends.

Can’t thank you enough from the minute we walked into the showroom we were greeted warmly. Then discussed what we were looking for with appropriate samples seen. Arranged for a visit and quote - very informative and all details spoken over on the day. Given a start date for the work which was as stated and how long it would take. The guys arrived and introduced themselves - nice touch. Very professional installation of new door and floor. Discussed any issues they found with us to get the correct outcome. So clean and tidy throughout the whole job. Ensured that we were happy with the job and worked very hard. Well done to you all. Our next project will be going to you. Thank you.

Had various work undertaken by youngs joinery (internal doors, Rock Door ,Bannisters) and wouldn't use anyone else!..from the friendly ladies in the showroom, to the professional, expertise of the skilled team of joiners. I would absolutely recommend and use this company again ..10/10 ????

This was the second time we have used Young joinery in the last 6 moths. The first job was replacing internal doors are garage door and window. An excellent job was done so I didn’t hesitate in using them again. They fitted a new upvc ceiling in the kitchen with individual spotlights. Once again everything was done on time and with hard working trades people. The things I love most about this company is their friendly team,quality finish and materials and the way they tidy up,hoover etc before they leave. Very impressive and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

Supply and erection of fencing. It proved to have been worth waiting a few months for a company that provided an excellent service. From the the initial advice provided by Paul to the friendliness and hard work of the team on site could not be faulted.

This company came highly recommended from family members but unfortunately our experience was not positive.
We were delighted to choose our new bathroom and Angela was very knowledgeable, helpful and managed our expectations of what we could do with the space. She also accommodated the dates we needed due to our summer holiday which we really appreciated.
Work began 13/06/22, which was due to take one week and started well. Halfway through the week there was a mix up with the tiles. We assumed there was a misunderstanding during our session choosing at the showroom. Angela resolved this for us and ordered our tiles but this delayed the rest of the work. We understood and chose to leave our keys with the company while we were on holiday after being assured everything would be fine, that they were professionals and the work would be completed when we got back. It was not but we received an email to let us know there were some snagging issues and they would be resolved as soon as possible. We had noticed areas which were poorly finished and also that one wall had been tiled by mistake and another had not been plastered at all but still felt confident that Young’s to deliver.
Over the course of the next 2 weeks we had them in and out fixing some of the issues. We pointed out some of our concerns and were told by some of the guys that they wouldn’t be happy with a few of the things we had noticed and they would report our concerns back to the office. Over the next few days we noticed more and eventually had to send a detailed list of issues. We also asked for someone to come out and see the bathroom as it had been left. Out biggest concerns were the unplastered wall, incorrectly tiled wall (left with 1cm gap at the one end) and the silicone seal which was very poorly finished. Lisa seemed genuinely apologetic over the phone. Angela did come out, listened to our concerns and agreed to arrange the further work as a priority. It did not take priority. We had to persistently call and email to try and pin down some dates for the additional work and it took a further 3 months for the bathroom to be completed in Oct 22.
We were offered, for our inconvenience, free painting. This took place in August. The painter did the room then informed us as he left that it was matt paint and hoped that was ok so we ended up having to repaint the bathroom ourselves. He also left paint splatters on the vinyl flooring and the tile trim
We were billed in full the day after the final work was done and paid in full. We find it perplexing that not even a token amount was taken off the bill because of the inconvenience and length of time taken to complete the work. It wasn’t about the money but even a gesture of apology would have been appreciated.
Overall, our experience with this company fell far short of our expectations and was not what we were expecting at all having seen their previous work.

We first contacted Young Joinery in May to get a quote for replacing three internal doors, doorframes and a cupboard door. After 2 years with no doors, we were thrilled to receive a phone call from Angela within minutes to set up an appointment for Paul to visit and give us a quote. Paul was prompt and very friendly, gave us some quick advice on some damp issues whilst he was taking measurements (thank you by the way- it worked!) and we had a quote through within a couple of days. Upon agreeing to the quote, Angela and Lisa were brilliant about contacting us when needed- some of the doors we chose weren’t available, Lisa helped us to choose alternatives which we were really happy with and Angela let us know when they would arrive to install.

On the day the work was done, the team turned up promptly (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch their names!), were really friendly and kept us updated on their progress. They really went above and beyond to ensure things were done to an excellent standard and we were thrilled with the outcome. They were more than happy to answer our many questions and explained what they had done in each area- they then cleaned up and disposed of rubbish for us. We now have lovely doors and are much better prepared for winter.

On top of all the work listed above, a few days prior to the doors being done during heavy rain, Young Joinery were able to assist us in getting an electrician at short notice when our electrics went and one of our sockets and plugs exploded!

Our experience with Young Joinery has been excellent from start to finish- we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and when we are ready to complete the next bits of our home, we will absolutely be back. Clear communication, fantastic standard of work and amazing follow up. Thank you so much!

We had a new front door installed by Young Joinery. From the first visit to the showroom and all the way through the process, the team of Paul, Angela and Lisa kept us fully informed of all options available and checked out with the manufacturing company whether some of our requirements were possible. We were regularly updated regarding progress of our order and forthcoming installation date. The lads who installed the door were right on time and did a great job and left things clean and tidy afterwards. Great job and service throughout. Well done and thanks.

We got a small kitchen extension completed and the quality of work and service was excellent. So much so we got the bathroom updated as well. Great service from the start and kept us up to date with what was going on throughout. A big thank you to Angela, Liam, Paul and the team, would definitely recommend them.

Youngs Joinery fitted 9 new doors / handles. The customer service was excellent, the job was done on time and the quality of the doors /workmanship was really good. Special thanks to Angela for regular contact and communication and of course the joiners who were brilliant. The flowers were also a lovely surprise. Overall - highly recommended!.

I cannot praise this company enough. We recently had wardrobe doors fitted and joinery work in our kitchen. Angela was excellent organising everything, giving advise and keeping us informed. The workmanship was excellent. Angela also recommended a painter who did an excellent job.

Had a small kitchen refurbishment - alterations to worktops, change of unit doors and re-positioning of an island extractor fan, new kick plates, a new kitchen unit and some minor unit adjustments. It actually looks like a new kitchen but at a fraction of the price! Young's have done work for me in the past so wanted to use them again as they are so reliable and efficient. Turned up exactly on time, kept me involved in the work, did a marvellous job and cleaned up afterwards. Had a follow up call and a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a thank you for using them - what more could you possibly want. Particularly like the fact that they are more than happy to carry out work of any size and I'm one very happy customer with a "new" kitchen.

We had a new living room floor installed and also new skirting boards and door surrounds with the work scheduled to take 2 days. We chose Young Joinery for this work because of the great reviews from neighbours and didn't consider going to any other joinery company. We were delighted with the work and the quality of product - the two joiners who carried out the work were great - they were polite and extremely tidy and kept us up to date with their progress. They started and finished on time. We had a slight problem with one of the skirting boards and Angela in the office couldn't have been more helpful - it was no problem and was quickly replaced with the minimum of fuss and bother. We would have no hesitation in recommending Young Joinery and would definitely use them in the future.

Internal doors were replaced with solid oak doors. Airing cupboard shelved and new door and window fitted to back of garage.
The joiners who did the job were very hard working, polite and mannerable young lads. They made sure that a quality job was done and not a rushed job. From my first visit to the showroom to the survey and finally the work being done, I have had excellent advice and service. My new doors look great and are a big improvement on what was there. Really pleased with all the work done.
