What can I say except what a great company from start to finish can’t fault them . We had just moved to this house and after going up the loft noticed that there was something wrong with the roof ,had three or four companies out to give us a quote we went with this one and boy are we glad we did . Kept us updated all the time , day after they started a storm hit even though they could not work in it they came and checked to make sure we were water tight , when job finished all rubbish removed all garden and drive checked to make sure no nails were left . Only down side is you have to wait to get them surely this shows how good they are.

Annual roof work and also removal of old rough cast and re-rendering of external walls

I had my house roughcasted with new chips put on. They did a fantastic job and left everything neat and tidy when finished. The guys are brand new and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Provided roof condition report with estimate for cost required within a few days of first visit. Gave a start date of within a week or so and contacted me timeously when this had to be changed due to inclement weather. Alternative date given a few days ahead when work carried out and finished. Good prompt service.

Neighbour pointed out ripped felt on our flat roof. Sandy was recommended and came out quickly and did an immediate temporary repair. Materials were then ordered and the full repair was carried out. Asked to get the rest of the roof checked, and was given the good news that there were no further issues.

Mr Douglas (Roofing Contractor) and his team provide an excellent and reliable service.

They replaced broken tiles on the the shed roof, installed a new Dry Hip System and replaced the broken hip and ridge tiles. They also removed debris from under the roof tiles at the side of the roof.

The team were punctual, polite and cleared the site before they left. They were quick and efficient and very helpful and informative about what they were doing.

I would recommend Mr Douglas and his team and would definitely use the company again.

We had replacement gutters installed using S Douglas Roofing. Work consisted of cast iron guttering to old cottage. Job was probably more complicated than normal and may have been why we had difficulty finding a contractor willing to take on job. S Douglas Roofing also undertook additional maintenance roof repairs at no extra cost. Service was 5 star from start to finish. We will definitely use again and have already recommended to friends.

Phoned up one day, Sandy came next very early with his workers looked at ceilings - said he could help, Next day I phoned again to say it was now very serious to me, could he take on the work. It was done and finished in 2/3 days. I popped down to house a couple of days later to see if scaffolding had been put up but found the scaffolding coming down as work was complete. Utility Roof had a complete make over with longer tiles, holes found also repaired and upstairs bedroom leak repaired - broken tiles replaces. First class work would recommend this firm.

Flat roof repair

Excellent service from Sandy Douglas and his team. Have used them more than once for roofing, summer house removal, shed repairs and would have no hesitation in recommending them and also using them again.

Our village hall roof was needing to be replaced. Sandy's guys were professional, polite, and extremely hardy! For the duration of the roof work it was horrendous weather, many snow storms, wind and rain. The guys were there every day clearing the snow away before working. Great job guys. Completely recommend.

Sandy did our roof 5 years ago so he was the first person we contacted when we wanted the roughcasting done on the house. He came out and we agreed for him to do the work and a few other jobs. They arrived a week early which we didn't mind and they got on with the work. There was a couple of mistakes but Sandy being Sandy got them sorted straight away. We would use these people again and they actually put us on to other people for drive work.

Replacement of new roof to front of house. Sandy was fantastic he was always available for any communication and he dealt with the Planning department on my behalf with no fuss whatsoever. The guys he has working for him are really good at their job and easy to get on with. I'm so glad I chose this company my roof looks fantastic.

S Douglas Roofing Contractor has been involved in a few projects at Innovate foods over the past few years all roofing work some of it tricky some just repairs and we feel that we can normally rely on Sandy and his boys to came and helped us out on a few occasions also came out in the bad weather early this year when we had the bad snow to help with a big install of our new nitrogen tunnels in getting the roof sealed off when we put 4 exhausts through the roof.
