Provided roof condition report with estimate for cost required within a few days of first visit. Gave a start date of within a week or so and contacted me timeously when this had to be changed due to inclement weather. Alternative date given a few days ahead when work carried out and finished. Good prompt service.

Neighbour pointed out ripped felt on our flat roof. Sandy was recommended and came out quickly and did an immediate temporary repair. Materials were then ordered and the full repair was carried out. Asked to get the rest of the roof checked, and was given the good news that there were no further issues.

We got Sandy and his team to investigate masonry falling from a roof, and to prevent any further occurrence.
Sandy promptly provided us with a quote and got his team to the premises exactly when stated. They undertook the work quickly and thoroughly to our great satisfaction (and relief).

Sandy and his team did a great job of retiling my roof. His team were hard working, kept me informed what was happening and tidied up every day after they finished.

We required a complete new roof fitted after a botched repair job by another contractor.
Sandy Douglas completed the job on time and kept in contact with us during the process. His operators were both friendly and efficient and when they left , you would never have known they had been there . Except for the lovely new roof!

Had two valley gutters which were leaking. Sandy came round evaluated the situation and had his team on the job within two days.
His team were professional, extremely friendly and cleared all debris up after them.
Will be the first port of call if we need anything doing to our roof in the future. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Sandy Douglas for any roofing work. He and his team were very professional and discussed each area of work at all stages of doing my roof. Always tidied up after each day and I was delighted with the finished product. You can't do any better than ask Sandy Douglas to do any roofing work.

Sandy and the roofers were brilliant from start to finish, kept me updated with everything that they were going to do what had to be done. Very professional with the scaffold, safety first. The roofers were brilliant workers and just got on with it. When the job was finished there was no mess left the garden was checked and everything cleaned up. Would not hesitate to use again.

Mr Douglas (Roofing Contractor) and his team provide an excellent and reliable service.
They replaced broken tiles on the the shed roof, installed a new Dry Hip System and replaced the broken hip and ridge tiles. They also removed debris from under the roof tiles at the side of the roof.
The team were punctual, polite and cleared the site before they left. They were quick and efficient and very helpful and informative about what they were doing.
I would recommend Mr Douglas and his team and would definitely use the company again.

I found this contractor to be very reliable and professional with great communication, workmanship and work ethic from start to finish.

We had replacement gutters installed using S Douglas Roofing. Work consisted of cast iron guttering to old cottage. Job was probably more complicated than normal and may have been why we had difficulty finding a contractor willing to take on job. S Douglas Roofing also undertook additional maintenance roof repairs at no extra cost. Service was 5 star from start to finish. We will definitely use again and have already recommended to friends.

Phoned up one day, Sandy came next very early with his workers looked at ceilings - said he could help, Next day I phoned again to say it was now very serious to me, could he take on the work. It was done and finished in 2/3 days. I popped down to house a couple of days later to see if scaffolding had been put up but found the scaffolding coming down as work was complete. Utility Roof had a complete make over with longer tiles, holes found also repaired and upstairs bedroom leak repaired - broken tiles replaces. First class work would recommend this firm.

Our village hall roof was needing to be replaced. Sandy's guys were professional, polite, and extremely hardy! For the duration of the roof work it was horrendous weather, many snow storms, wind and rain. The guys were there every day clearing the snow away before working. Great job guys. Completely recommend.

We contacted several roofers to provide a quote for work to our roof and chimneys, and found Sandy the most reliable- he came when he said he would and gave an honest account of what needed to be done.The work was carried out promptly and efficiently and should we need any repairs to the roof in future, Sandy will be our first port of call. Definitely recommend!

I was very pleased with the work done on my roof. The workmen were good. They cleared away all the debris. They work hard each day. I would highly recommend this company.
