We have been customers of John Wishart for about 40 years now and we have always had good service. Quick response any time we have contacted them and very good workmanship. They always clean up after the work.

I have used this firm for many years and have no hesitation in saying that they have done a perfect job, no matter how large or small.

We have used Wishart’s since 1998 for various different jobs including the fitting of 2 boilers and 2 bathrooms. They have always been brilliant. We had to use a different plumber 2 years due to an urgent issue after moving home & Wishart’s were not available to do the work, the work was poor and left us with issues they would not take responsibility for it. The plumbers from Wishart’s came and found the problem and fixed it as well as doing some other work they were friendly, accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend Wishart’s to anyone for any type of plumbing work, we have never been let down.

We have used JW Wisharts over 10 years now. On this occasion it was for annual boiler service. We would highly recommend them for all aspects of plumbing and heating.

Remove old J&S Economair 65, plus hot water cylinder and cold tank in loft. Fit new Baxi combi boiler plus J&S Aquair S20 water to air space heater, this heats house via existing warm air floor ducts.
Work performed within time scale, exactly as quoted, plus late requested additional scope. Kyle Bell and apprentice Connor were both very hard capable workers and nothing was too much trouble. The on-site team were ably supported by owner Scott Wishart and Linzi and the rest of the

I called Wisharts due to experiencing an issue wuth my thermostat in my new build where by my heating would not turn off. Wishart's were very accomodating and came out the very next day to look at the thermostat. Both Lindsey and Scott were great and kept me informed about the work. In a week i had brand new thermostats which are much easier to use and my boiler was serviced too. I would not hesitate to use Wishart's again.

My oil storage tank failed, which forced me to have it replaced. JD Wishart Plumbing provide a fast & flexible service throughout their various visit to site as the job progressed from emptying / removal & replacement of tank / commission system after the tank had been refilled.
I would highly recommend this company for their excellent customer care.

My shower was not heating the water. Scott came with a quote and within a couple of days I had a new one fitted. Part of the wet wall was replaced with an exact match and the work was faultless. Stair and landing carpets were covered with polythene and all rubbish was removed. All the guys were friendly and respectful. I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Fantastic old school service. Quick, courteous and thoroughly professional. Boiler install done in 1 day plus they made an extra trip to ensure cleaning was thorough! A real ray of sunshine and highly recommended.

They have, over the years, helped us on many occasions from boiler installation, servicing and an emergency visit dealing with a bad leak in our bathroom.

I discovered a leak from our Combi boiler. I contacted Wishart and explained the problem. From first contact it was a really good experience. Linzi in the Wishart office could tell that I was anxious and concerned. She talked me through the immediate issues and promised to get a plumber to us soonest. Wishart are as good as their word. Scott (the boss) arrived within 2hours. he identified the leak and also identified other issues with water pressure serving the boiler and the rest of the house. We agreed that all matters would be attended to within the next couple of days. Kyle (one of the Wishart plumbers) tuned up on time and got to work. All matters were dealt with efficiently. The work was explained to me at each stage. A lovely clean and tidy job. I cannot recommend Wishart highly enough. Top quality advice and work. I will be using them for boiler servicing and any other plumbing issues henceforward. Reasonable prices. These are people you can trust
