We used the Trusted Trader site as well as a personal recommendation to find Wisharts. We have been very pleased with their work.
We needed a boiler and full central heating system installed.
Wishart came out to quote when they said, we received the quote promptly. Compared with other quotes it was very competitive.
Originally we were having LPG fitted when a problem came up with the tank installation (nothing to do with Wishart) Scott was quick to sort out an alternative heating system and requote.
Before work started we were contacted several times by phone to arrange delivery of the oil tank and boiler and keeping us up to date on where we were regarding the installation.
The two plumbers John and Steven that installed our system were polite, respectful of our home and worked very hard. The weather was not kind to them but they worked on regardless.
Would definitely recommend this company.

JW Wishart’s have serviced my boiler annually for years since they fitted it, they send out reminders that it’s due and one call books you in. A reminder call the day before gives you an idea of when they’re likely to arrive. All the engineers have been polite, efficient and tidy up after themselves.
They are my first port of call for any issues with my heating.

Scott arrived to give advice and a quote for replacing a full bathroom suite. He hand delivered the quote the following morning and the detail within the quote allowed us to view the items online, which was very useful and gave us an insight into how the completed job would look. On the agreed day for the work to start, 2 operatives arrived and laid down plastic sheeting to protect our carpets. The men were very professional, courteous, and explained everything they were doing. Scott visited twice to check on progress and advise on any issues that arose. The guys worked diligently and are a credit to a very professional company. Upon completion the waste was removed and the area cleaned up. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will use them in the future should the need arise.

Repairs and refurbishment of our shower room were carried out efficiently and to a very high standard. Workmen were reliable, diligent and friendly.

I needed a new shower fitted (as old one had broken down). They responded really quickly and sent someone (Connor) the following day. He was friendly, helpful and did the job in under an hour. He took away the old shower and cleaned up the shower cubicle and explained how to operate new shower. Said to contact company if any problems or issues. Very pleased with the good job he did. Cost was less than I expected. Will use them again for any other work needed.

Quick response and estimate cost. Work started within 2 weeks of accepting the quote. Workmen arrived on time, extremely polite, explained everything and answered questions. Additional tradesmen, ie. electrician and roofer also excellent. Tidiest workmen to ever work in my home. Excellent service and would highly recommend.

Annual service to warm air system.

Excellent service. Quote done quickly. Fitters were quick and efficient. Very good job. Very happy with the service.

Boiler and hot water tank replaced, and cold water tank removed, then system serviced annually since.
The initial work was only to replace the gas boiler, but it was discovered that the hot water tank was leaking & damaging the floor, so that was added into the job. After some discussion with Scott, it was agreed that the cold water tank in the loft would be done away with to improve the flow rate significantly,
Everything was done in full consultation with myself so I could understand what was going on and why it was necessary, so I could see for myself it wasn't some cowboy adding needless jobs to the list.
All in all, I was very happy at what was done, and the time it took to be completed, and would be very happy to have Wisharts back again.

Wisharts up sized 3 radiators in the sitting room, all work was carried out to a high standard, care was taken to protect the fabric of the room and the plumbers were polite and respectful.
We have used Wisharts as our go to plumbers for over 40 years and have never found them wanting.

The installation of the radiators was completed to my satisfaction and employees of J W Wishart are credit to company in how they conduct their business.
I would have no problem using this reputable company again.

Had new boiler installed two weeks ago. Excellent work and the workmen were so helpful. Cleared up any mess left after the installation. Would recommend them as they did an excellent job.

We had a boiler service done as we have done every year since the boiler was installed. The engineers are always professional, efficient and considerate. Our last service for October 2024 was completed by two young men whose names sadly we did not catch. They were very polite and respectful. A credit to the company.

We had a leak in our bathroom. The plumber from Wishart came promptly and fixed the problem completely. The service was excellent and at a very good price. This is the second time time we have used this company for a plumbing issue and they have been excellent each time. I would highly recommend them.
