Helpful, friendly staff throughout and every step and timescale was fully explained. The fitters arrived on time and the job was done very efficiently and without fuss and they cleaned up fully before demonstrating the operation of the doors. No hesitation in recommending to others.

Middle of November we had new windows and a tiled roof fitted on our conservatory. It's the best decision we have made and wish we had it done years ago. We have gained another room that can be used more than just in the warmer months. Davey and his team did an excellent job, especially having to work through the terrible weather conditions we had. Conservatory roof conversion and installation of internal french doors:

Fantastic job by Fife Windows and Doors converting our conservatory roof to an Ultraframe 380 and installing internal french doors. From initial consultation with Ian Reid to installation by Davy Penman and the team, everything was exceptional. The team turned up when expected and completed the job with limited disruption. It’s turned our conservatory from a limited use space, due to heat extremes, to one of the most used rooms in the house. It looks great too. We’re very happy with the job and would recommend the company 100%.

From the initial meeting with the young man at their showroom to the final installation their dealing with us was exemplary. The sales rep did not pressure us and explained everything in detail. On the installation it was completed in the time scale given and cleaned up any mess behind them. We are totally pleased and highly impressed with the product and the finish. We would definitely recommend this company.

From the initial visits of Ian and Mike, to the team of Davie, Neil, Kieran and Sam, who worked through rain and shine, everyone did an excellent job. I am delighted with my new sunroom and the neighbours also think it is beautiful. I would definitely recommend FW&D.

We had 6 windows, two doors and a porch replaced by Neil and Andy at Fife windows. Only took three days, couldn’t have asked for more, courteous, polite, happy, keen to keep us informed through the whole fitting process and left the job even tidier than it was when they arrived. The quality of work and attention to detail has been great.

On top of this they came recommended by our neighbour and found they were the most cost effective out of three alternative quotes.

We had a front and back door fitted by Scott & Gary. First class fitting team. Work carried out was excellent.

We needed a new front door, as the one we had was leaking. We visited the showroom in early June, where we spoke to Iain. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and he talked us through our options. The survey happened very soon after we visited the showroom.

As it was only one door, the company were obliging enough to fit installation in around another job being done nearby, to tie in with our dates for having the exterior of house painted.

Gary and Scott turned up just before 8am on 10th August, they introduced themselves on arrival, which I thought was excellent. The job was completed by mid-morning. They took the old door and all of the fittings away, tidied up and even swept my drive. There was no damage to the interior of house. I had imagined needing to redecorate our vestibule, but no need.

I would definitely recommend Fife Doors and Windows!

We had ten windows and one door replaced. The difference is huge - we no longer hear the seagulls nesting opposite and there are no draughts.

Service was first class from start to finish. When I first went to the showroom to ask for advice, we discussed all the options for replacing my windows and doors without any pressure to buy. I arranged for a visit to give me a quote and once I compared their service with other suppliers, I went with Fife Windows & Doors to replace all 12 sash and case windows and both the front and back doors. These were fitted over three days to an excellent standard with minimal disruption, ensuring that any dust and debris was cleaned away each day.

I had a sunroom built in March.
From Ian coming out, listening to what I wanted, to Mike overseeing the build, everyone was very professional.
Ian made 2 visits. I was planning in advance and having other work done in my kitchen. I felt Ian listened to me and designed exactly what I wanted. He made suggestions that kept the build within the budget I had in mind. I did not feel pressured to make any decisions.
There were some delays in the build due to the weather, but I was kept fully up to date as to when work would restart.
Everyone arrived on schedule and all trades did excellent work. Mike made sure that I was happy with all stages of work. When they hit a problem leak it was fixed before completion of the build.
I would happily recommend Fife Windows and Doors.

We had previously used Fife Windows and Doors in 2021 to fit three new doors and a replacement porch at our house (a late Victorian cottage with modern extensions), and were pleased with the quality of their work. So when in 2023, we had a much bigger job to be carried out (31 replacement windows and two french doors!), we asked them to quote for the work.

Other independent Fife companies also provided quotes, but Fife Windows and Doors impressed us most. They listened carefully to what we asked for, then suggested alternative - and lower-cost - solutions when some of our original ideas were rather impractical. Contrast that with other companies who simply said "yes" to everything we asked for, but did not convince us that they had actually thought about our particular needs.

We could certainly have found lower prices elsewhere, but Fife Doors and Windows once again convinced us we had made the right choice. After a detailed, lengthy measuring visit, a quote was supplied, we then made a second visit to their showroom and talked through some details (resulting in a further small price saving measure proactively offered to us - how many other companies would have done that?). Then a final quotation was given - no haggling required, no "buy now and get a 10% discount" nonsense, and no deposit/advance payment required until all work was completed to our satisfaction.

We did have to wait for about three months until the installation took place (though that delay actually inspired confidence, because it showed the company was busy) but good communications throughout kept us advised of the timetable.

Having tradesmen descend on your home is always rather stressful, but this was the best experience we have ever had. Admittedly, it was a big and expensive job, but the company threw everything at it and incredibly, the whole project only took 3.5 days. The team worked very hard, were polite and respectful throughout, and didn't create too much mess (a slight mark must be deducted because their final clean-up was not brilliant). When they hit a problem when fitting an awkward window, one of the company directors turned up and spent over two unscheduled hours on site helping the team to find a solution.

We of course do not yet know about the quality of the new windows - will they stand up to the weather at our rather exposed location? - but they certainly appear to be of a high standard. We are also delighted with their appearance (we were replacing timber windows with PVC) but the new ones look good externally and have wooden facings inside to avoid a 'plasticky' look.

Was anything less than perfect? Yes - the final clean-up as mentioned above, and also, for some unknown reason, two of the windows were sealed internally with silicone when we had specifically asked for that not to be done, because silcone can't be overpainted. So I had to buy special shellac paint to allow me to overpaint - Fife Windows and Doors owes me £25!

But these were minor problems, and we thoroughly recommend this company. If you are looking for a straight-talking, honest job of work to be carried out, at a price which will not be the cheapest but more importantly will provide value for money, then you should ask Fife Doors and Windows to quote for you.

New composite front door. Guide for choosing doors was good. Measurements done well. Had to wait little while to get the fitting done but we were informed about where were were in the queue. Fitting done well, within 5 hours. Quality door. They phoned me the next day to check everything was OK. We're very happy.

From the initial enquiry my wife and I were impressed by the sales representative's approach, not a pressure sale but an honest assessment of the situation due to covid related problems. We decided to accept Fife Windows' quotation. After acceptance of the quotation, we were surprised by how efficiently the erection of the conservatory was undertaken. We initially decided to scope a conservatory and did our due diligence with quotes from different companies.

The Fife Windows and Doors (FW&D) salesperson Ian was helpful and friendly and there was no brinkmanship, basically the price quoted was what you would pay. The quote for the FW&D conservatory, known as a Livin Room, was in the region of what we expected and it should be said, almost half of a well known Scotland wide company.

By the time we decided that we would go ahead with the Livin Room, we also got a quote for new windows, front door and roofline. Again, the quote was in the region of what we would have expected and we agreed to go ahead with all of the work.

Mike was thereafter the contact at FW&D and he kept us well informed of what work would be carried out and when.

The roofline and windows were the first job to be done and this was started and completed on time. The guys that attended to carry out the work were polite and respectful of our property and we are delighted with both the quality of the fitting and the products themselves.

The Livin Room was then started. Again, Mike kept in regular contact as this involved a number of sub-contractors attending. This was completed on time and again we are delighted with the product. We would also praise the sub-contractors, builders, electricians, plumbers and decorators, as well as the FW&D guys who were all pleasant to have around the house and had a great work ethic.

In the weeks that followed, given the amount of work that was done it was understandable that there would be minor snagging issues, and these were all dealt with without any hassle and promptly.

In summary, I would highly recommend FW&D. From the sales team right through to the aftercare, we can not fault the process and the product is excellent (goodness knows what the extra £1000’s get you when you go with other companies??).

This is a local Fife based company and in our view there is no need to look any further than them for new windows/conservatories etc.

I was very impressed, they were patient with us at the quotation stage as we changed it several times. The installers were excellent, they completed a first rate job, cleaning up behind them as they went. This company was not the cheapest quote received but I had used them many years ago and felt from start to finish extremely confident they would give a high quality service which they did. I'm happy to say the whole experience was painless and the quality of work was in my opinion excellent. Their installation team kept me informed of their daily progress, what they would be completing during each day and left zero mess when the job was finished. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone considering making upgrades to their property.

5* However, just a small comment. The electrician marked the ceiling - black ballpoint X to position the downlighter then changed position and left the mark. I will touch up with emulsion myself.

This is the second time I have used Fife Windows and Doors. The first time we had a conservatory built - that is fabulous! No fuss with anything, everything was easy. Workmen arrived on time every day, cleaned up and left no mess and were always helpful. Now we have new windows at the front of the house that look great. As always workmen were on time, polite and left my house as they found it! Of course with great new windows. Would always tell my friends and family to give Fife Windows and Doors a call first.

We were very pleased with the service from this company from visiting the showroom (very Covid safe, one in/one out system) to the fitting of our doors. The fitters were polite and courteous and were as unintrusive as possible. The work was done to a high standard, both men worked non stop. On completion of the job everything was left neat and tidy, even the glass cleaned.
