The chaps from W&S Christie replaced some tiles that had blown off in the storms in Jan 2020 and cleared the gutters. They arrived on time, and carried out the work efficiently leaving no mess behind. I asked for photos of the finished work, which were provided. All in all, an excellent job.

Ian at W & S Christie was extremely patient with us as we had to discuss the repairs with all the 12 owners of the flats in the block, most of which are let so this involved contacting agents etc and took a very long time
The work was done efficiently and with the minimum of upset to those who live here. The workmen were always pleasant & helpful.

Mutual repairs to tenement: chimneys rendered; roof overhaul.

Without the helpful attitude of Christies Roofing, our tenement works simply would not have happened. Extremely accommodating and helpful vis a vis the Council's 'missing share' service, over very drawn-out period.

As regards the works themselves, very professional and responsible staff who gave a good account of their firm and made a real effort to make sure we were happy with the final result. What a relief!

W&S Christie have carried out our tenement's annual roof inspection for a number of years now. They are extremely pleasant, come when they say they will come and always do an excellent job. We will be using them next year as usual.

Christie's have just completed extensive work at my home, fully replacing the flat roof and carrying out repairs to chimney, guttering and downpipe. They also arranged and co-ordinated rebuilding of the cupula.

My experience of the company was very positive throughout the process: their communication has been really excellent and I have found them reliable, responsive, friendly and thoroughly professional. The guys who did the work were great and made sure everything was tidied up and watertight at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and his team at Christie's.

I ended up needing a totally new roof, Ian at W&S Christie was clear on the breakdown of costings, work required and timescales. It was a huge juggling act in terms of managing different trades people, and i never had any issues with the entire process.

This is the second time I have used W&S Christie's and both times I have been very impressed with their professionalism, standard of work, friendly and good communication. Excellent service.

We had a complete and large replacement of the roof of the tenement block. It was a tough job, as the roof was failing in many places. It required all residents to buy in to the project and planning permission, as it was a listed building. However, W&S Christie were so good at communicating that it really smothered the process over, with them even occasionally attending residents meetings if required to explain technicalities. The standard of the work was inspected by our own independent surveyor and photos were taken throughout. The resulting job was excellent. The quality of the work was top standard and the workmen on the job were professional and friendly. They cleared up brilliantly when the job was finished. A special mention to the lead worker, who is clearly an expert in his job. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

I have used Christies in the past but have never had to undertake such a big job before (complete roof replacement of communal tenement, 100k+ job) Christies were trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable and professional from start to finish.

They caused minimal disruption given the scale of the work, communication was excellent and their team were attentive at all times. I also appreciate the time they spent with us prior to being awarded the contract, offering advice and insight at an early stage. Their help in facilitating the process generally was very much appreciated as it's not an easy task in a communal block.

The standard of work was exceptional and the comprehensive guarantee provided on both materials and the work undertaken was as one would expect when investing in a complete roof replacement. Even the independent surveyor we appointed to oversee the project and sign off the job at various stages commented that he thought the work they had undertaken was of an exceptional standard and that he would be recommending them to other clients moving forwards.

Their quote was not the cheapest received (certainly not the highest either) however they did assist in finding some additional cost savings during the work. When comparing the detail of each quote like for like and given the level of service and quality of work, they were undoubtedly the best value option for us.

Would highly rrcommend. Kept us informed throughout and made every effort to answer queries and attend meetings to discuss progress and any issues. The team on site were great too. The quality of the work seems to be of a very high standard and everything was left clean and tidy.

From planning to completion W&S Christie were exceptionally helpful and professional going beyond all other companies who quoted for a roof and chimney refurbishment.
