Richard Barrett Flooring

We had our existing hardwood floor removed and Richard then removed the sub standard sub floor and replaced it - a joy to no longer have a squeaky floor! He then laid hardwood blocks (Parquet) sanded and oiled them. In addition he replaced an existing hardwood floor in a large second room and laid hardwood blocks (parquet) sanded and oiled them. We were up against a tight timescale as had a new kitchen being fitted. Richard worked extra hours including weekends to meet the deadlines - he went the extra mile. Despite being up against it time wise Richard did not let his quality of work slip - as usual the floors have been laid beautifully by Richard and his team. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. In fact I have booked Richard to replace another floor as we were so pleased with the results.

We recently had our Floors sanded in our house. I would recommend Richard and his team, exceptionally friendly, reliable and work to a high standard. We had our floors done many years ago by the company and they were our first port of call 17 years later to have them refreshed. Work men who turn up when they say, do a good job and leave the house tidy after work is done. You can’t beat that kind of service!

Very professional and reliable

We had a problem with a leak in the kitchen that affected the floor and we therefore needed new flooring. Richard came to check things out the day we called him and took measures to avoid further damage before he was able to return and complete the job. He explained clearly the work required and returned in due course to finish it in a thoroughly professional and timely fashion. We are very pleased with what he has done. Richard was very polite and considerate throughout. Thanks, Richard!

I had reclaimed parquet flooring laid by Richard and a couple of rooms sanded back. All work was excellent quality & no mess at all.
