Communication with Richard was easy. He came out quickly to quote for sanding and varnishing our dining room floor boards.
Richard and Scott turned up on time and were very friendly. Very clean and tidy workers. Very little dust. We are dlighted with the excellent quality finish they achieved on our dining floor and would definitely recommend and use again.

Richard laid a Herringbone wooden floor in our hall, kitchen and lounge, and we couldn't be any happier with the service and result. The floors are absolutely beautiful and the process of arranging the work was super easy. Would definitely recommend!

Richard, and his colleague Scott, refurbished the floor of 3 rooms in our flat (listed building - circa 1820) and they have done a fantastic job. They have transformed the floorboards from dark, scuffed and uneven into beautiful honey coloured flooring. They also transformed our front room where the existing floorboards were too damaged to be repaired and they fitted some beautiful Carron Oak engineered wood floor which fits wonderfully in our mostly wooden panelled living room. I enclose some photos but they don't really do justice to the quality of their work.
Richard and Scott were always punctual, hardworking, reliable, trustworthy and very nice. We would definitely use their services again for another room we have left to do.
I recommend them very highly.

I'm really pleased with the job Richard Barrett Flooring did on my bedroom floor. Richard and Scott were great — friendly, professional, and tidy. They secured and fixed up the floorboards, sanded everything down smoothly, and stained it a lovely Walnut shade. Then they finished it off with three coats of Woca Optimum Matt Lacquer and added white beading around the edges. It looks fantastic. I’d highly recommend them.

Richard is absolutely excellent at his work. He not only does a great job with the floors but is prompt, reliable, organized, and flexible around the demands of multiple trades working on the same building. He refinished a few rooms in my old house and I had no hesitation asking him to refinish my entire new flat, including new skirting boards, which all looks great. Couldn't be happier with it.

Cannot thank Richard enough for a) the BEAUTIFUL work on our floor and b) for being so lovely about digging us out of an ill-advised DIY hole when I got too far on in my pregnancy to finish the job we'd started.

He and his colleague did an absolutely /fantastic/ job, no mess or fuss; they were punctual, extremely good natured and very professional, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his business to anyone. He even very kindly asked if he could fix a floorboard in another room that looked a bit dodgy, which was above and beyond!

Can't wait to have him back to do the rest of the floors when we have a bit more breathing space!

Richard has now done two properties in a row for us, and I can’t recommend him enough! Brilliant end result - clean and tidy during the process and minimal disruption (we recently had 3 rooms done at once) would definately recommend him and use him again everytime

I contacted Richard as we were wanting our original floorboards sanded in our 100 year old house & to be then varnished . Three days were arranged for Richard and Scott to come out to do our living room, 2 bedrooms & the downstairs hallway & entrance hall. They came very promptly and got working straight away & they were very professional & tidy as they worked. They repaired some loose floorboards & secured them. After the original floorboards were then beautifully sanded , 3 coats of Woca optimum Matt floor lacquer were applied. It was also 95% dust free. Below are a few photos of the finished rooms. We have now arranged to have our stairs done in a few weeks time. Amazing craftsmanship from Richard and Scott and the price was very fair & reasonable. Richard was very easy to deal with and communication was great from start to finish, this included time spent receiving an estimate to explaining what could be expected from the job.

I couldn't be happier with my refurbished floorboards. Richard and Scott did such a fantastic job. They turned up on time each day and were very pleasant to deal with. Richard and Scott fitted wooden flooring in our living room and plywood in our hall. The work was completed very quickly after first contact and it was done to a very high standard. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Richard and Scott repaired, sanded and sealed our original wood flooring in 2 living rooms and a hallway, part of which was heavily damaged following an electrical rewiring. They did an excellent, high quality job and we’re delighted with the floors which look like new! Highly recommended.
