We appointed Recommended Decorators to carry out extensive internal and external redecoration works and a range of surface repairs to the common areas of a historic tenement within Edinburgh's New Town. Throughout, Alan and his team were professional, supportive and patient. Alan visited the building to talk through our plans in order to offer us a quote, obtained or matched the colours that we requested and worked in an efficient, clean and friendly manner with his team. There were a number of additional items which were chosen to add to the works, Alan was attentive and very helpful at advising and quoting for these. Overall we have been very pleased and grateful for Alan's professional commitment, attitude and level of workmanship.

Recommended Decorators totally transformed our church hall from a typical 1930s look to a modern stylish interior. They were responsive to our budget restrictions. The job took almost two weeks, during which Alan and his team were efficient and helpful in getting the task done round our tight and difficult deadlines, sometimes making helpful suggestions and just taking on minor additional tasks as part of the job. They came on the day arranged to start and completed the job in time, working around a booking we had in the middle of the job. I first met Alan and the team from Recommended Decorators when they carried out a very large job of repainting our shared stairwell from top to bottom. They were very good at working safely in a stair that had many people coming and going during the work. I then have had Alan and the team back to decorate my flat following major refurbishment work some years ago and then again recently as it needed a refresh once my tenants moved out.
