I've used Mitchell Roofing for many years and found them to be very professional and thorough in their work. I've used them for a replacement flat roof on my garage, and for a complete reroof on my house, and their work has stood the test of time.
Always prompt attention and tidy work, and invariably with any leak they'll get it sorted. Also excellent banter between Jackie and Harry!

Most recently the firm refurbished the felt on a flat roof to our complete satisfaction, and replaced the flashing round a leaking Velux . Problem solved!

Velux window replacements in September ‘24 carried out expeditiously with commendable care and attention to detail and, yesterday, a slipped single tile quickly reinstated below our roof ridge, the latter without charge! I cannot fault this service. Response to my inquiry was quick and when he arrived he was kind and clear in his explanations of what needed done. He even offered to do the job then and there. I was worried about being taken advantage of as I knew it was a small job but he was very fair in his price. He was experienced, efficient and tidy. I don't know how his service could have been better. I will definitely be going to this company for any future roofing needs.

We were looking to get Velux windows replaced in our loft conversion. Jackie came out swiftly to quote and was very knowledgeable in conversation during this. He provided a competitive quote quickly and was quick to respond to additional queries we had before we accepted.

The scaffolding was set up the week before Jackie's crew turned up and they did the job swiftly and to a good standard, really noticed the difference with the new windows. Very happy with the work done.

Having just been completely ripped off by a another roofing company I contacted Jackie on the advise of my brother who was very impressed with the work he’d had done. From our first meeting Jackie was extremely knowledgable and helpful. The quote was very reasonable and the work was excellent from the moment the scaffolding went up to the completion of the job. Jackie, Harry and the rest of the team are great. Excellent communication from the outset and price was competitive with other estimates. They attended when expected, accommodated minor adjustments to the work and tidied up at the end of the job. Would definitely recommend.

Jackie and his team have looked after our roof for several years now and their diagnosis of issues and resolution is always spot on. We had various roofers previously who were happy to take our money and then disappear when the problem returned but not Mitchell roofing - as Jackie quoted to me 'we will never be beat with a roof'! Always prompt response to view work required and Jackie has had work completed next day. Extremely helpful and gives good advice. Just had a tile replaced and loose tiles made secure, can't fault Jackie and his team. Definitely recommend Mitchell Roofing.

Had a small leak coming from the roof after the strong winds got in-touch with the company and they responded straight away and came up the next again day. Was a few tiles out of place was fixed straight away. Great service. Will definitely recommend to family and friends

Jackie responded to our request really quickly. He and his partner did an excellent job — skilled, efficient, and with great good humour. They were also so kind throughout. I even invited them to stay for my best Chinese tea, but they had another job waiting. No wonder they can respond so fast to clients — they always put the clients’ needs first.

Great service - prompt reply to my call, came the next day to look at my roof. It ended up being a small repair which Jackie did straight away and at no charge. Would recommend to anyone needing roof repairs in Edinburgh.

In recent gale, several slates fell or were loosened on my roof. From the company 2 men came and did a great job. They replaced broken slates with good quality slates. Very happy with their work.

Fantastic service fromn Jackie. He popped slipped slate back in place in 5 minutes and wouldn't take anything for it. Came when he said he would and was really friendly.

After storm Eowyn I had a roof ridge tile precariously perched over a common passageway and needed it made safe. Jackie from Mitchell Roofing gave me a reasonable quote for the work which I accepted and it was all completed in less than a week. Jackie also replaced a couple of broken tiles while he was there at no extra cost. Great job and a very friendly professional service. I would recommend Mitchell Roofing and will use them again.
