Very happy with my new window installation from the quote to the installation. The installers took good care in removing the existing windows and fitting the new. Some changes to joinery were required which was completed professionally. Carpets were protected and the worksite cleaned at the end of each day. Overall it was great value compared to other quotes I received.

Replacement of sash and case windows to a top floor flat at the rear of a historic property in a window conservation area.

J W were most professional throughout the process from measurement to completion. Craig ensured full compliance with Planning and Building Control requirements. Alan and Graham considerately replaced the rotten windows with uPVC tilt and turn windows and sympathetically finished the surrounds externally to the stonework and internally with pine plates to seamlessly blend in with the historic timber window surrounds and with a uPVC window sill to the bathroom.

Workmen were reliable, on time every morning, professional conduct, friendly, tidied up afterwards and they worked very fast. Job was completed to a very high standard. Very happy with the job and the team.

We had 11 new windows and 2 new doors supplied and fitted by J W Glazing and Joinery. We are delighted with the quality of the products and also with the standard of the workmanship. In fact the whole JW team were very professional in all aspects - whilst also being super friendly.

I had 2 windows where the double-glazing units had failed (condensation between the panels). JW Glazing replaced the double-glazing units in the existing window frames. They did an excellent job from start to finish. A polite, professional team - the people on the phone, the man who came to measure for the quote and the installers.
They came when they said they would, did what they said they would and left no mess. Impressive. Great job.

I had several windows in my house with badly rotted frames that needed replaced. J. W. Glazing & Joinery replied to my initial email within about a day and I was able to arrange an inspection within about a week. They recommended replacing my windows with PVC frames resistant to rot, which I'm very happy with.

The installation process was quick and about as convenient as you could expect for a relatively major home improvement like this. They were able to get the bulk of the work done within a day (three large windows with three panes each), and then another morning's worth of work to finish one smaller window. The longest part of the entire process was the manufacturing lead time on the actual windows themselves, which took about five weeks.
