I first contacted Homeland Security after my existing (at least 30 years old!) alarm system started giving off a slight burning smell, as well as activating even though it wasn't set in alarm mode. After investigating the issue and making it safe, they recommended a new wireless system, which they came back to fit a few days later. Really pleased with the quality of the work and the price - never felt like I was being given the hard sell. Their advice was fully tailored to the set up in my property and what I needed. Would definitely use again and have already recommended to others.

I recently used this company to install security cameras in my home. Gary came out quickly and, after listening to me, gave me some very good advice which both suited my needs and my budget. He fitted the cameras and was very patient and considerate whilst setting them up and showing me how they work, a very nice man indeed, and passed on some cost savings to me which I thought was very honest. After a recommendation from my daughter, Gary visited us to provide a quote for an intruder alarm and CCTV system. During this visit he also gave good advice and recommendations on other things that I could do myself to further enhance the security of our property.

We contacted Homeland Security as we wanted to replace an ancient existing alarm system which was starting to play up. Gary attended promptly and offered a range of reasonably priced options for a new system. What set Homeland Security apart for us was the wider security advice offered in addition to replacing the alarm system. Gary promptly fitted a new wireless alarm system and replaced a number of our outdoor security lights which were old and unreliable. Following positive feedback from my mother in law after Homeland security installed her alarm system we contacted Gary looking for a CCTV system to cover our house . Professional from the outset , a prompt and thorough security assessment was conducted at time convenient to ourselves with no sales pitch just common sense advice . A quote (very reasonable) was provided shortly after detailing our options, which we were happy to accept. The 4 camera system chosen was installed soon after with no mess in a neat discrete manner. We are very pleased with the system with the cameras being unobtrusive from outside the house with no visible cables etc. and soon mastered the navigation of the control screen. Gary came out promptly for a very comprehensive survey after one phone call. He gave very sensible advice and the quote for the system he recommended was the cheapest (using the same alarm brand for comparison). Gary was straight to the point, kept things simple (time-tested methods), and did not try to sell any addition equipment / sensors I do not really need.
