Rotary drier installed July 2020. Paul, who did the job arrived promptly and was very diligent and polite. He was also patient whilst I tested putting the drier up and down. He folded up the cardboard packaging. I had ordered the drier online and Fixable were flexible in changing the date as it hadn't arrived on the date we agreed. These details are all noticed and very much appreciated. This is the second time I have used Fixable and would heartily recommend them - no job is too trivial.

Fixable have done a number of jobs that needed doing around my home - all done very reliably and well. Most recently they restored some shutters for me at a very reasonable cost and they look fantastic - all in half a days work - kept clean and tidy along the way. Jim was very skilled and knowledgeable and nothing seemed like too much trouble. He was also very cheery and helpful. I will use Fixable again for any kind of household job really, they seem able to cover it all & get things done and out of the way. Well worth the money - couldn't recommend more highly.

We had a broken tap in our kitchen so the water was turned off. We phoned Fixable on Monday morning. They were incredibly efficient. The plumber, Gregg, bought the tap we had chosen and it was fitted by lunchtime. Friendly and trustworthy. Highly recommended.

Ian and Jim did a fantastic job boarding out our loft for us. The work only took half a day, and they were very thorough about clearing up at the end. Will definitely use this company in the future for other works.

I used Fixable to fit two metal transition bars in the doorways of my flat. They needed to be cut to size and adjusted for height. When finished, they fitted perfectly, the edges were straight and the handyman cleared up after himself. The price was fair and I will be using this company again.

Fixable came to fix washer in toilet at our property. They were quick to organise the work and the plumber they sent was polite, friendly and punctual. The work was completed promptly and the problem fixed. We’ve always found Fixable to be efficient, helpful and pleasant to deal with.

From my first quotation request to the completion of the work, the service I received from Fixable Ltd was excellent. My shower was in dire need of replacement as was some woodwork above my backdoor. Jim arrived to take details and measurements, a quote arrived and a date fixed all with speed and efficiency. I had no idea about the amount of work required but, with patience, Jim answered the many questions I asked. Had to have a new integrated washing machine cupboard door installed post machine installation. Setting up the appointment was professional and efficient , and they were very accommodating when I had to reschedule at fairly short notice due to a family bereavement. Brandy the joiner was punctual , friendly, did a great job, and hoovered up when the job was done. I will definitely be using Fixable again!

I would highly recommend using Fixable Edinburgh. I had a list of odd jobs that needed done and it was nice to find a company who were a one stop shop. The booking process was easy and friendly and a free quote was arranged. The engineer who came out to complete the work was punctual and very professional. The work was carried out to an extremely high standard. Overall, I’m absolutely delighted with the finished results and will definitely use Fixable again and recommend to others.

Fixable came to do some work on two flats for us, including various odd jobs. They communicated well and the office were prompt in responding to queries. The price paid for the work was reasonable. In one flat I asked for them to diagnose and fix a fault with a shower, unfortunately this was misdiagnosed as an issue with the electric shower and I purchased a new one for them to fit. As this hadn't fixed the issue, they then had to send another of their team out to look at the plumbing, and diagnosed that it was actually just the water pressure and with a twist of a nob fixed it in 30 seconds. This was frustrating as I've paid £100 for a new shower and however much for them to fit it. The other jobs the first employee completed in this flat - including fitting locks to cupboards and a curtain rail - were done well. In the second flat we asked them to install a new oven, which was a slightly different size to the old one, trim some doors and replace broken door handles. The doors were not shaved enough and we had to call them back, and the engineer had also not understood the task we asked him to do in replacing the door handles. They did however send him back out to rectify the work, communicating well in a timely fashion. Unfortunately however, a couple of months later the oven fell out of place. The brackets used to mount it were not secure enough, and the wiring wasn't fixed into the wall properly. It was a poor job. Contacting them to ask for this to be rectified, I was told they could send someone in 3 weeks - which wasn't satisfactory to have a non-operational oven in the middle of our kitchen floor. However, after a further exchange they managed to get someone out within a week which was better. The new tradesman has done a great job and it is much more secure than before. I can't fault how nice all the staff were, but I think it is important for organisations to monitor the quality of the workmanship of all staff and in this instance unfortunately I am out of pocket £100+ for a new shower I didn't need and we have now had to take 2 additional mornings off work to be in for things being rectified.

Had ceiling in living room replaced - plasterboarded, plastered and painted and whole living room painted. Had flooring in hall kitchen living room and bedroom done.

The work was completed on time and to a very high standard.
Tradesmen were punctual very polite and honest and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

I've used Fixable a few times for some small jobs around the flat - fixing a cupboard coming off the wall, putting up some shelving, fixing a broken tap - and have been really impressed by their services. They are quick to respond and get the jobs done rather than making you wait ages to hear from them, you having to chase and then get only have a time available that's a way off which has been my experience with other companies. When on site they are really good at discussing options to find out what would work best in terms of what's needed. Highly recommend!
