I recently used Energize Electrical to upgrade my fuse board, install fire-rated downlights throughout the property, and carry out an EICR inspection. From start to finish, the service was professional, efficient, and well organised.

The team took the time to explain the work required, completed everything to a high standard, and left the property clean and tidy when finished. The work done was really up to the standard I thought that it would be, having had contact with them to sort things out. I would highly recommend Energize Electrical for anyone looking for an electrician. They are very professional in their approach to the whole of the job from first contact through to completion, turned up for each scheduled appointment on time and carried out the installation of a security camera and light above the garage door very efficiently. All the staff are a pleasure to deal with.

We wanted to replace a gas hob with an electric induction hob due to issues with our gas. After getting the gas pipes closed off we were trying to work out how we would get a powerful enough electricity supply to our kitchen island for a hob. We got another couple of quotes which involved pulling up the floor. Campbell came round for a look and came up with a simple solution of fishing the cable from a created hole under the kitchen unit in the extension, the 6 meters to the accessible underfloor in the old part of the house. The solution saved us between £500 to £1,000 compared to the other quotes. So, very happy. And cooking on better than gas now.

We had a new twin socket fitted. Jordan was really as always. Great work and would highly recommend using again.

Very efficient and not a job that cant be done!

I reached out to Energize Electrical looking for a quote for interconnected smoke alarms in my new flat. I got a call back within 10 minutes of the email enquiry and had a great chat with Neil who explained it all to me after asking a few questions about the property. The quote was sent quickly and I was able to get booked in at their next available slot. The engineer arrived promptly and was done within 30 minutes, disconnecting and removing my old wired fire alarm and installing 2 fire alarms, a hear alarm and a CO2 alarm. Neil they called afterward to make sure I was happy with the work. I reached out to Energize Electrical because of the countless positive reviews and I can see why they have them. I would use them again should I ever need electrical work.

I contacted Energize Electrical to get an EICR done and some smaller electrical work around (replacing down lights, installing bathroom extractor fan, installing a linked smoke alarm system). They also had to replace the existing fuse board to comply with the current standards. The electricians were prompt, friendly and very professional. All the work was completed to a high standard and they also tidied up after themselves. I would use them again would also recommend them to anyone interested.

I didn’t know where to start when looking for someone to install an EV charger. I started on the journey and was disheartened at the first hurdle. I was told that I would need to get someone in to dig a trench round the side of my house to the back of the garden to where my car is parked so they could lay the cables. I live in a Victorian house with thick walls and a concrete path all the way around my house and there was no way I was going to have it all dug up for an EV charger so I decided to just charge the car up from my garage using a normal plug which took a frustratingly long time to charge not to mention the cost. Then my son in law told me his brother was having one installed and asked if I would like his brother to ask the installers to come round to my house to have a look at what was needed and potentially provide me with a quote. Although they were very busy, I received a lovely phone call from Neil from Energize Electrical (Scot) Ltd saying they would be round that afternoon. The rest is history. I now am a very pleased customer with an EV charger beside my car in the back garden with no digging of trenches or any upheaval. The cable was led from the front of my house along my wall and mounted next to my car.
I can’t praise the guys from Energize Electrical (Scot) enough. They were extremely friendly, efficient and had a great work ethic. I have used Energize Electrical a couple of years ago, when they installed some garden lights and they recently replaced a downlighter for me. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The service is just superb, from receiving a quick quote, arranging an appointment for the work to be carried out, turning up at the agreed time, professional work and follow up telephone call to ensure that I was happy with the work. I will certainly use them again for any electrical work I require.

I needed an EICR for my rental property at short notice. Energize were the first to come back to me with a quote, a date, and friendly advice. They explained the need for follow up work to be done and clearly laid out the components on the follow up quote. At the second visit (at which I was present), the engineers were very prompt, polite and explained throughout what was happening. This is important for times when a tenant has to deal with them and not me.

We had previously hoped to get a small job completed by Energize Electrical, however quickly after getting someone to come in to provide a quote, we found that our fuse box had to be upgraded prior to being able to carry this out, and we needed some rewiring completed too. Neil, Campbell, and their team were professional and friendly from start to end. They were transparent in their costings (no hidden extras) and continuously checked in throughout work being completed to ensure we were happy with the work and comfortable with the tradespeople.

Finding tradespeople who you trust, especially with moving into a new home/area, can be a bit of a minefield. From start to end, we trusted the folk in. They explained everything in full, encouraged questions, and didn’t make you feel silly for asking for overexplanations of the work!

The team at Energize Electrical have done an amazing job upgrading our stair lighting to LED making it both brighter, cheaper to run and energy efficient. With a new timeclock added and new lighting our stair lights now come on at correct times and all come on together fixing problems we were having with them beforehand. Would recommend this company if you ever have any jobs needing done.
