Neil and his team were fantastic. They were recommended to me by a friend. Neil spent so much time on the phone discussing all of the various types and makes of car chargers so that I could make an informed decision on what suited our needs best. He managed to fit us in at a time that suited us and the work was up to an excellent standard. Neil also completed all of the background paperwork. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service I was looking for an EV charger and went on the web into a minefield.
I phoned Neil and he put me straight at ease told me exactly what I would need and came out the next day to survey. The men arrived at the allocated time and had the charger fitted and up and running in a couple of hours.
Overall could not fault the service from this company and would recommend and will use again myself if I need any electrical work done in the future.

Really happy with the EV charger installation from Energize Electrical. Neil came out and did a detailed survey of my house electrics to determine what was needed for the installation. The guys were friendly, turned up on time, and got everything done quickly with no fuss. They explained how it all works and left everything clean and tidy. The charger’s working perfectly and the whole process was easy from start to finish. Would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about getting an EV charger installed.

I can’t recommend this business more highly.
The customer service I received for my electrical safety certificate was extremely valuable. They provided an accurate quote for me to approve. They turned up exactly when they said they were going to got the job done quickly. And came back with the recommended changes which they also completed for me to a very satisfactory standard. Neil and his team were very quick and efficient to respond to my initial query. Initally it was beeping smoke alarm (which needed replaced) and i added additional jobs of fixing a spotlight and extractor fan in bathroom. All 3 jobs done in 40mins.
Campbell was great at answering all my queries and plans for future jobs! Have already reccomended these guys to a friend after today!

I have used Energize Electrical a couple of years ago, when they installed some garden lights and they recently replaced a downlighter for me. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The service is just superb, from receiving a quick quote, arranging an appointment for the work to be carried out, turning up at the agreed time, professional work and follow up telephone call to ensure that I was happy with the work. I will certainly use them again for any electrical work I require.

I needed an EICR for my rental property at short notice. Energize were the first to come back to me with a quote, a date, and friendly advice. They explained the need for follow up work to be done and clearly laid out the components on the follow up quote. At the second visit (at which I was present), the engineers were very prompt, polite and explained throughout what was happening. This is important for times when a tenant has to deal with them and not me.
Very happy to have worked with them and will certainly do so again either for my rental or home properties.

We had previously hoped to get a small job completed by Energize Electrical, however quickly after getting someone to come in to provide a quote, we found that our fuse box had to be upgraded prior to being able to carry this out, and we needed some rewiring completed too. Neil, Campbell, and their team were professional and friendly from start to end. They were transparent in their costings (no hidden extras) and continuously checked in throughout work being completed to ensure we were happy with the work and comfortable with the tradespeople.
Finding tradespeople who you trust, especially with moving into a new home/area, can be a bit of a minefield. From start to end, we trusted the folk in. They explained everything in full, encouraged questions, and didn’t make you feel silly for asking for overexplanations of the work!
We would, in a heartbeat, use this team again for further electrical work and other services. Thanks again!

The team at Energize Electrical have done an amazing job upgrading our stair lighting to LED making it both brighter, cheaper to run and energy efficient. With a new timeclock added and new lighting our stair lights now come on at correct times and all come on together fixing problems we were having with them beforehand. Would recommend this company if you ever have any jobs needing done.

We used Energize once again, this time to replace some existing sockets and switches with nicer looking versions. We also needed pendant lights replaced for the same reason.
As before we are very happy. Communication was excellent from Neil, and he even managed to accommodate our tight schedule caused by the imminent arrival of new flooring and appliances.

Highly recommend Energize. Neil, Campbell and the team are very professional. Having had a bad experience with a different provider to fit a EV Charger I was sceptical, however, Neil and Campbell are clearly very knowledgeable about the process, completed a survey, explained the process and kept me updated to installation. The team on installation were, on time, diligent, professional and cleared up afterwards. Bar the noise of the drilling you wouldn't have known they were there! Very pleased with the end result. Neil and his team were great to deal with. We had a leak from our roof which then came through a bedroom light fitting. After an initial phone call with Neil we were directed to the online booking system which was easy to use and a time for the booking was confirmed later that day. As a landlord, I needed work done in one of my properties. These guys came in at a much lower cost than I was quoted by the letting agency. In the end, the amount of work needing done was less than the quote allowed for so I was charged accordingly. So basically, my opinion is that these guys have a high level of trust that the price quoted (and charged is fair). Neil keeps you informed at each stage of the workflow and the nice touch is the "Thank you for your business" call on completion of the work. It is a rare thing for a business to make you feel like a valued customer.

A fuse tripped on Friday evening and when I reset it, although power was restored, a light on the fuse was flashing yellow instead of a solid red.
I sent a contact form to Energize on Saturday morning not expecting a reply until after the weekend, but Neil happened to be in the office and called me straight away! He said he would speak to his team on Monday morning and call back with a date to visit. He called at 8am on Monday and said Campbell would come to check the problem that afternoon, which he did. That is first class service.

Contacted Energize Electrical for a quote to install a EV charger at home, after finding them listed as approved installers on both Home Energy Scotland and Tesla website. Neil responded very promptly to discuss the process (which includes making several checks ready for DNO notification) and Campbell popped out that evening to survey the job. The quote was in line with my expectations, and with a recommendation from a friend, I confirmed the job.
The job was scheduled and then pulled in slightly ahead of time, the team arrived early on the day after confirming via phone, and the job went really smoothly with full discussion on placement and routing of cables and minimal outage of the power supply.
Overall highly impressed from initial communication to final invoicing, and will be sure to use Energize Electrical again for any future electrical needs.

I asked Energize to install an EV charger after I was messed around by another company. Neil and his team were brilliant from the initial phone call until they packed their tools away after conducting a very professional job.
I found the cost to be very reasonable, especially as they went out of their way to do a very neat installation. I'd recommend Energize to anybody and I won't be using anybody else in future.

Replacement of old charging unit. Pre installation well coordinated and kept informed. Installation carried out efficiently and tested. However the car was not there at the time and on first charging the unit kept on tripping.

After decorating the new house I noticed a few bodge jobs so called out Engergise to sort it. They conducted a EICR and then completed the remedial works at a later date.
Work was completed to a high standard, but accidently when installing the consumer unit drilled too far and damaged the carpet.
Energise were very applogitic and paid for the install of a new carpet.
You can tell the quality and integrity of a tradesman in what they do when things go wrong. Would highly recommend!

This time they installed some PIR floodlights on the house, put up two heavy feature light fittings, and replaced an outdoor socket.
The work was completed in one visit by Campbell and a colleague, and was done to an excellent standard. They readily accommodated a last minute decision by my wife to swap the light fixtures between rooms due to one ceilings being unsuitable for one of the fittings, and their attention to detail was high - for example they used a laser spirit level to ensure the light fittings (one of which had 3 separate hanging shades) were all perfectly aligned.
They also vacuumed and wiped down the areas they had worked in afterwards, after taking me through each of the pieces of work they had done and checking I was ok with the results.

Energize completed an EICR and associated repairs for our new home. They completed repairs including repairing broken lights and sockets, upgrading fuse board and installation of new plug sockets. We needed an upgraded electrical supply plus fitting for a new cooker and were delighted that our first choice, Energize Electrical, were able to fit us in during the very busy run up to Christmas. We also needed to replace a failed bathroom extractor fan. Campbell visited us in advance to check our current set up and to discuss our options. As before Neil's excellent communication then kept us fully up to date. The work was again done efficiently, politely and professionally on the day they promised. An all round excellent service.

Second time used these guys. This occasion was to install kitchen appliances. Having capped the gas, the induction hob needed a new circuit which they laid under the dinning room, through the lounge and across the hallway. All this was to avoid taking up some of our laminate flooring. They worked methodically and took their time to ensure a satisfactory outcome. The oven that John Lewis were unable to install because of the location of the gas pipe was also installed with little notice. To perform this extra job at such short notice and so close to Christmas was greatly appreciated. It reflects their commitment to great customer service and is why they are my ‘go-to’ company for anything electrical. I highly recommend them.

Have recently had a few jobs completed by Campbell and the team. They were professional, punctual, patient and considerate. They kindly answered any questions we had, and Campbell even returned to complete additional work (that came to light in a safety inspection) on a Friday (his day off) so as not to keep us waiting!
Arranging the work was easy as Neil is very quick to respond. He was especially kind to fit in the work at short notice as it was time dependant and he worked around our tight schedule.

I recently moved into a property and contacted Energize Electrical to help. The property required a surge protection isolator, hardwired smoke and heat alarms, repair lighting circuit with a poor earth connection and repair water and gas bonding supplies not earthed. Although they didn’t have the availability to do a rewiring until the new year, Neil not only recommended some other providers to us, but got in contact with one and urged them to give us a call so we could get it sorted as soon as possible.

They are communicative, polite and professional, exceptionally clean, helpful with advice and flagging of concerns/potential issues/risks to the quality of work, and overall genuinely help the customer along the way.
I've found that many tradespeople make assumptions about what the customer knows which can lead to broken communication; others tend to only worry about the task in front of them - this can feel disjointed and lead to disappointment, but Energize Electrical helped us connect the dots with what was needed and made for an overall pleasant experience. I wish more trades had the etiquette of Campbell, Neil, and Ryan! My only wish is that they had other trades people beyond electrical that could help us with other work on our flat!

We had an old and faulty halogen downlighting system in our kitchen that we inherited from the previous owner. Energize bought it up to standard with new LED lighting, using variable light adjusting bulbs and bezels that made it a very professional job and us, very happy customers. Will certainly be using Energize again and they'll be going in the book as our Edinburgh local electricians to go to.

I Contacted Energise to review our fuse box and electrics and was booked in for the following week. Campbell and Jordan arrived promptly within 5 mins of arrival time. Campbell took time to outline the process and access needed. They both worked quickly and effectively with minimal disruption. Checking everything. They removed obsolete wiring, marked clearly every cable in the fuse box for easy identification and checked all sockets were in working order. Finally the gave us a full verbal report and recommendation on further work for us to consider. Finally they cleared up and left the house as they found it. They will be my first port of call for any further electrical work needed and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
