Energize Electrical replaced the elements in my electric hot water tank. It's a relatively small job that could have been difficult to find a reliable company to quote for or do. From the first time I contacted them, the communication was great, they responded quickly with a quote and managed to fit the job in at short notice at a time that suited me. We had a few ceiling lights relocated and split. I appreciate that they make sure every step is done correctly and properly instead of rushing to finish it. We're totally satisfied with the results. Everything is exactly where they should be and now we have two beautiful low hanging tiffany lights above the dinning table to enhance the mood like a 100 times.

Start to finish a great experience. My query via the website was answered promptly, within a couple of days the guys came round to scope out the job and sent me a quote through same day, then came back to do the work a couple of days later. They arrived when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and carried out the job to a very high standard. We had old electrical storage heaters replaced with new efficient wall mounted heaters. The whole process was fast, efficient and friendly from initial contact with the firm, through quotation and installation. The firm helped to provide heaters which covered the original footprint of the old heaters thus eliminating the necessity to redecorate. Following installation the firm ensured we were happy.

I recently had an EV charger installed by Energize Electrical. I had previously been told by another electrician that the supply would have to be routed through my loft however Energize Electrical found a solution and at a much cheaper cost than I had been quoted elsewhere. The service provided was excellent - they were punctual, tidy and kept me informed throughout. Following installation I had them return to fit an outside socket. Again I was delighted with the service.

We made contact with Energize Electrical requesting a quote for an EV charger fitted at our home. We were given the quote within a day after the survey had been completed and the work was carried out in a professional and timely manor. We would happily recommend Energize to friends and family. We do not have our new car as yet so cannot comment on the performance of the charger.

Cambel and Jordan did a great job getting our newly purchased flat up to EICR standard. Nice lads, provided thorough checks and showed their work afterwards, and hoovered up any mess created from wires lifted/drilling etc in the flat. Only downfall was due to the work done by previous home owners which meant our front light couldn't be sorted in the same appointment, so now it doesn't switch on. Helpfully though, they stayed to do a walk-through of the flat for future work that we might do down the line and I'm confident in obtaining a quote that covers what's needed. Great communication with Energize Electrical too, including reminder texts and emails and follow-up call from Neil once the work was done to check in.

Energize Electrical recently installed some outdoor string lights along some fences in my garden. The service was excellent from start to finish. On contacting them by email, I received an acknowledgement email followed the same day by a telephone call from Neil to discuss my requirements. An appointment was made just a few days later for one of the team, Ross, to visit, access the job and provide an estimate. The lights were duly installed, again within a short time, and with full input from me during the installation about placement etc. Unfortunately some time later there was a slight issue with the bulbs within the set, a manufacturing issue, but that was sorted out promptly, professionally and efficiently. On every visit, I was given a day and time when the engineer would arrive. Ross who installed the lights was very professional and impressive. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Energize Electrical and will certainly use them again for any further electrical work.

Exceptional work and timely completion. The team arrived on the agreed day and finished within the estimated timeframe. After completing the work, they ensured everything was put back in place and thoroughly cleaned the area. There was no indication that any work had been done on the property. It's worth mentioning that I work from home, and there was no interruption to my calls or workload. The team understood and accommodated the needs of remote work by isolating only the necessary circuits and keeping the noise to a minimum. I had an assessment to prepare for an EICR completed. I initially spoke to Neil on the phone who took the time to listen and explain what needed done. On the day, Campbell and John were punctual, polite, respectful and communicative; Campbell answered my questions and explained the results of the assessment clearly and comprehensively to me.

We used Energize to install and test a new EV charger. This is the second time we’ve used Energize, and as before we are extremely happy with the service.

We needed rewiring and fitting of sockets into the wall (which had previously been mounted onto directly onto furniture units). We also elected to move out light switches so we could reverse the way the doors open.

Energize Electrical installed an EV charger for us about 18 months ago and it has worked flawlessly since then. However, it stopped working after a smart meter installation by a different company.

I needed an external socket replaced after it was accidentally damaged. Having used Energize Electrical in the past I had no hesitation in contacting them again to complete the work. The electrician came a few weeks ago to replace my kitchen light and whilst he was here, he noticed that the circuit breaker was overrated for the circuit and would not operate in the event of an overload and so it needed to be replaced.

As with the last time he was here, he was punctual, very polite, and did a very good job. Again, I would recommend this company very highly.

I decided to buy a new electric car in late November 2023 and was expecting to get it by the end of the year. Having looked for installers of home chargers I was assured by the number of reviews for Energize Electrical as well as how happy customers were with the service. After contact and filling in the simple forms to give essential information a member of the team came and surveyed the site, all was fairly simple as it is a new house but some extras were needed in any case. I had already looked at chargers and was attracted by the Simpson and Partners Home 7 Plus as it has solar integration and in addition is fairly small as well as very smart looking. I discussed options with Neil from Energize Electrical who himself suggested the same charger so I was happy to go with that. I agreed to let Neil know as soon as I had a delivery date for the car. Unfortunately this slipped till early March but as soon as I contacted him he arranged for the charger to be installed in good time. The work was carried out in a fully professional manner with the fitters happy to explain any options in terms of siting things. Both the fitters and the initial surveyor arrived in good time as arranged.

There was a small glitch in connecting the charger to WiFi after the fitters left (not their fault at all, we had checked the bluetooth connection). Neil called me soon after the work was completed and on my telling him about the glitch he texted me the Simpson and Partners helpline number. They answered very quickly and after some time we sorted the problem, it seems that the charger was in some peculiar state but after two or three resets it worked fine and has continued to do so. I mentioned to Neil that the person I spoke to at Simpson and Partners was fairly new there and was unable to answer a query about the solar panel aspects. Neil sent an email to Simpson and Partners asking them to phone me in due course and has followed matters up.

To sum up the quality of the work, advice and service from Energize Electrical is excellent and well worth the cost.

Campbell repaired a faulty light switch and replaced a 4 ft LED batten in my utility room. He was exceptionally courteous, helpful and efficient and took the time to explain exactly what the issue was with the faulty lighting. I was also very impressed by the fact that he removed his outdoor shoes on entering the house. Very satisfied with my Ohme ePod EV charger installation by Energize. Neil was extremely prompt and organised with the admin and logistics from start to finish, and gave really helpful advice on choice of charger and eligibility for an OZEV grant. The survey was also done promptly and installation happened within my timescale while others were quoting several months of lead time. The cable routing was done discretely, despite it being an older building, and they also installed a three-pin outdoor socket at the same time, which will come in very handy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Energize and would use them again going forward for any domestic electrical jobs.

They did a great job installing an ev charger, with no fuss but also with plenty of good information before, during and after. All done tidily at agreed price, can't really ask more than that!

Fitting of electric car charger. Professional throughout. Left a clean work area and were able to advise when it became apparent our WiFi wasn't powerful enough to support the charger position.

Really cracking service. Came in to look at some faulty lights and really went the extra bit to ensure they were the right brightness for me and that they were safer than they were before. I'd really recommend these guys for any job, even just fixing a light or two!

Our timescales were quite tight, but Energize did their best to accommodate us so that it would tie in with our plasterer. This was much appreciated. We had an EICR performed on a large 1930s flat, and the electrician from Energize arrived promptly, was very professional, and gave us a fair assessment of the overall condition of the electrics when he finished the job. We had Energize Electrical install a series of recessed downlights in our hallway. We were very happy with the work they did and will have them back to do further work we have planned in the future.

After contacting them via Trusted Trader, they were quick to arrange a visit, stressing that they don't provide quotes without one (something that none of the others we contacted did). I felt assured after the visit that they knew exactly what was involved in the job.

After discussing the job, they sent me several quotes for different options, clearly explaining what was involved in each. Their pricing was fair and, unlike other quotes we received, included minor decorative repair work.

On the day, they arrived on time and discussed the work with us before proceeding. They carried out the job quickly and professionally, taking additional steps to minimise the visibility of the work. We were happy with the repair work that was done, and they cleaned properly after the job.

We had an EV wallbox fitted to the house. Neil explained the options to us and made recommendations as to which device and options to include. Very professional company. Communications are excellent throughout the engagement and the completed work itself being of high quality and left very tidy after it had completed. Definitely recommend this company if you need an EV wallbox fitted and I would use them again for any future electrical work.

We were aware we required more than a standard installation but the entire team went out of their way to ensure they found a solution and completed the work to the highest of standards.

Energize installed an electric vehicle charging point at our home. Overall we were extremely pleased with the service. Neil was extremely responsive - always checking we understood what was happening and when, explaining the options and approach. Energize Electrical (Scot) installed a EV 7KW Home Charge point.

Through out the entire process communications with the team were clear and concise. Neil took the time to explain the technical requirements for installing a home EV charging point- it is not as straightforward as you would think!
The initial survey was carried out quickly and the found the surveyor to be very knowledgeable and helpful.
The installation team turned up on a wet November morning at the agreed time and the works carried out as per the agreed quotation, with no "scope creep". The site team were very professional, highly competent and the works were carried out to a high standard. Housekeeping was noted to be exemplary throughout the whole process.

Energize Electrical have installed some new lighting in the church and carried out annual PAT testing. They arrived at the specified time, carried out all the work very efficiently and have cleared up behind them leaving no mess at all. Their communication before and after the job has been excellent, and I would recommend this firm highly.

Had smoke and heat detectors fitted. Flat now complies with regulations. I was given a price and a date. Electrician turned up on time, very proficient and completed the job with no mess. Campbell from Energize has completed two jobs at my property in the last year to an exceptional standard. He wired and fitted electrical appliances (shaver, mirror, extractor) in my new bathroom and removed an old faulty wired fire alarm system (3 fire, 1 heat). Both jobs required a lot more work than I had planned but Campbell was able to provide solutions to solve any problems that came up and kept me in the loop with progress as well as cleaning up any mess from the job which I really appreciated. All in all, a very talented electrician who I can trust to use for all electrical work.

Neil phoned about 30 minutes after I completed on line contact. Hugely helpful and raised a number of issues that I wasn't aware even existed. He then acted as intermediary with SPEN thus ensuring that some critical supply matters were dealt with. Lots of subsequent contacts from Neil regarding progress of work and offering advice. Excellent post installation follow up.
Campbell, the surveyor, also very helpful. Gave clear and concise advice regarding both Chargepoint and Fuse board.
Installation by Ross and Jordan went smoothly and with great attention to detail.
Everything happened exactly as planned and all extremely punctual. All involved very pleasant, polite and personable.

I had some lighting and wiring issues attended to in the flat. Campbell at Energize was punctual, friendly and seemed very competent at fault finding with good technical ability. This enabled us to resolve the problem succinctly.

Fitted an EV charger & external light, and upgraded fusebox / consumer unit. Arrived on time, did a good job, tested everything including finding an old cable left behind from a removed electric shower, routed all the new cables neatly and left the place tidy. Communication from Neil through the whole process from first enquiry through post-install checkup was proactive and efficient, and helped clarify the ev charger purchase and install process.
Can’t ask for anything more, and would happily recommend.
