Edinburgh Heating provides a full range of services to central heating and hot water systems throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
We are Gas Safe registered, and have been well reviewed for our quality of work both on Trusted Trader and other sites.
We are Advanced installers for Vaillant boilers, one of the best on the market. German engineering and proven reliability.
We are also Platinum Installers for the Intergas brand of boilers from Holland where they are the market leader and for good reason too. We believe their boilers represents a significant step forward in design, with less moving components inside they are more reliable, more efficient and more cost efficient than traditional boilers.
We are also accredited to install the Nest learning thermostat as one of their pro installers. The Nest thermostat learns your routines and ideal temperatures and then quietly goes about it's business of keeping your home at the perfect temperature while saving you money.

Iain installed our boiler nearly 12 years ago now and has serviced it ever since. This last job was to repair a faulty pressure relief valve and Iain did it with his usually efficiency. A nice guy to have around too! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Iain, Heather and Cain were all outstanding, can easily recommend them if anyone is wondering if they should use Edinburgh Heating. At very short notice they installed a new gas combi boiler for my 85 year old mother after she waited more than two weeks for a large national company to repair the old one only to find on the repair date they could not repair it hence the urgent hunt for a competent company to install and then look after a new boiler. The contrast was huge - Iain and Heather were genuinely concerned about the situation and strived to provide an incredibly swift solution (which they did - from first call to installation was 2 days!!). Cain installed the boiler and matched Iain and Heathers concern and professionalism with a first class piece of work. A great team and importantly for mum a local, caring team rather than being a statistic in a call centre. Well Done Edinburgh Heating.

Needed a new boiler for my elderly mum when her heating broke down and called Ian on a Friday afternoon. He was very professional and understanding and visited her the same afternoon. I live some distance away so was acting on my mothers half, Ian provided a full quote very detailed and reasonable that same evening and the work was carried out the next Tuesday. Professional work carried out by Cain and heating back on and working with the new boiler installed. I could not fault this company
who treated my mothers broken boiler as a priority and were very easy to work with.

Iain came to install a nest thermostat and to service my boiler. The thermostat was installed quickly and efficiently. Iain picked up on a fault in the boiler and returned with the necessary replacement part to replace the faulty sensor and do the service.
Both Iain and Heather ( in the office) were quick to respond to any queries. I found Iain to be pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. I liked that he explained what he was doing.

Company called out to complete a first service on Ariston gas boiler. It was found that screws were missing on the flue and the central heating system water was filthy, black in colour. Also no filter fitted, I informed the company who had originally fitted the boiler and their engineer came out fitted the screws took a sample of water and said he had seen cleaner.
At this point I decided to ask Edinburgh Heating to flush the system, and fit a filter also a new radiator.
A young plumber arrived (Cain),very polite, professional and sympathetic to my situation, 86 years old. Job complete now and system working perfectly. Thanks so much I will use your company from now on, and wish you had fitted the boiler.

Annual service for boiler carried out. We were sent a reminder and we received texts on the day giving us their arrival time.
The boiler was installed 4 years ago and we haven't had any problems with it.
Iain is very friendly. It's always lovely to see him and have a chat. He's very knowledgeable and efficient too. Thanks.
