Mark and his team delivered a five star service from start to finish, with a free oil treatment and specialized cleaning device. We had new flooring installed in our large extension. My experience of this trader has been exceedingly excellent in all categories. They provided thorough information and advice, were prompt and reliable, and provided outstanding service, and are clearly friendly and hardworking.

We had Khars engineered flooring installed throughout the ground floor of our home. Mark has extensive product knowledge and provided a range of options which enabled us to make an informed decision to satisfy our requirements. The craftsmen who fitted the flooring were excellent and provided a quality service . I would thoroughly recommend Mark and his team.

Following a recent house move, we were so impressed with the engineered oak floors laid in the public areas that the previous owner was contacted to ascertain the company who had provided and fitted them. As a consequence, both bedrooms have now been treated to the same flooring and we could not be more delighted.
Knowing that the quality and workmanship would be excellent based on the appearance of the existing floors, it was particularly gratifying to find that ordering directly from Mark was both convenient and reassuring. The men laying the floors were most particular and took obvious pride in the finish of their work, which is superb.
And now? We are currently choosing Moduleo stone-effect tiling, to be laid by the Edinburgh Flooring Co - who else - for the kitchen!

I have already commented very positively on this company and the work it has done in laying engineered wood flooring in our flat. This review is purely about customer service. Recently the long radiator in our lounge came off the wall, why it did so I have no idea but there we were stuck with the radiator, slightly off the floor at a very awkward angle, potential leaking and some damage to the floor.

Obviously we called various plumbers but to no avail, they are very busy and it would have been days before they could come in. My wife and I thought about it and knowing Mark's highly customer oriented approach to his clients, we called him. He listened and then responded, 'I have a few names, let me check them out.' He did and came back to us with the contact details for a plumber, (Imran), who was as customer focussed as him. The guy did a great job.

Now, the reason for this review is simple. When there's a contract at stake some companies will be there immediately to respond. Some, not all, then 'forget' you after the work is completed. Mark did not and for that I am grateful. If you use this company for flooring the quality will be exceptional, however, it's the customer care, (even when it's nothing to do with them), that elevates this company to amongst the best I have ever dealt with.

Mark & his team provided a first class professional service. Our Kährs wooden floor was fitted with great care by a master craftsman and looks stunning. We were delighted with the service and would highly recommend Edinburgh Flooring Company.

After a frustrating and unsuccessful attempt to buy flooring online decided to shop local and not disappointed. Mark gave good advice on suitable flooring and underfloor heating for our hall and kitchen and provided a prompt quote for the work. Craig who fitted the flooring was prompt and friendly and explained / consulted me on any 'workarounds' needed where there were problems as well as positioning of thermostat for underfloor heating. Standard of workmanship was excellent and job was tidied up well and rubbish taken away.
Would recommend Edinburgh Flooring Shop and buying locally where possible rather than trying to save a few quid online!

Edinburgh Flooring Shop Ltd supplied and fitted wood flooring for three of our rooms in November 2018. We are very pleased with the service and the finished result.
We sought a number of estimates and although Edinburgh Flooring Shop was not the cheapest, we chose them because it is an established local firm and because they provided us with detail about the job and how they would do it.
David and Craig fitted the wood flooring - they were polite, punctual, clean and tidy - and it looks beautiful. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail and finishing was impressive.

The owner Mark project managed a comprehensive upgrade of my semi-detached bungalow. His workforce not only laid beautiful flooring but also papered, painted, did plumbing and electrics, joinery work etc with fabulous results. I am delighted to recommend the Edinburgh Flooring Shop.
