Recommended from a friend who had used Edinburgh Flooring Company themselves and I am glad I listened to them!

Recently moved into a tenement flat and the flooring was in dire need of attention. Creaking floorboards, old laminate split at parts, old laminate underneath carpets.

Mark came out to measure and suggest options, he was clear from the start about what type of work would most likely be needed and didn't try to hide any additional work that he thought would need to take place. Everything was costed out on a quote so I could clearly see what I was paying for.

A great selection of different types of flooring in the shop will suit anyone's tastes.

I decided late on that I also wanted new radiators and Mark was able to accommodate installing those before the new flooring along with some electrical work that I wanted.

When work started and the old flooring was taken up there were some problems that appeared, his team was clear on what needed to happen and gave options. Even finding an old fireplace grate behind some old shelving units that they had to deal with.

Very very happy with the quality and speed of the work that has taken place. All completed to a high standard and the flat was kept clean after every day.

I would highly recommend to anyone that is needing any flooring work done.

I can't believe how the new flooring feels compared to the old one, I can actually walk on it without making a sound, all because of the prep work Mark and his team did on the floorboards.

All those month, from the selection of the flooring to the final installation, I felt supported by Mark and his team. The guys who were laying the flooring were on time, friendly and working really hard. Mark even offered a needed introduction session for the Theromostat and App Use, which I really appreciated. We are delighted with the new engineered oak floor installed in our hall and livingroom. Scott did an excellent job laying the floor and replacing our skirtings and door surrounds and Stevie did a great job redecorating for us. Both were neat and tidy workers. The fact that Mark could organise both the floor laying and redecoration within the same timeframe for us was a plus. Would highly recommend.

We were recommended Edinburgh Flooring by a family member and Mark & Ian arranged Lee to come out within a few days. The bedroom floor was sanded and varnished to a very high standard, particularly the skill with which lee infilled gaps with timber. Many companies would just use filled (I am an architect).

Lee was on time, very hardworking and diligent and a nice chap to chat to.

We have arranged to get Mark to quote from installing new flooring in hallway and sitting room as we were so please with the workmanship.

I am usually a pretty decisive person, however on this occasion it took me a while to decide on the flooring solution. Edinburgh Flooring was not only a great source of information but were extremely patient in proving options for my consideration. After I made the final decision, the installation of the underfloor heating and wood floors were efficient and flawless. I had a few questions post installation and their follow up service was well received. I am really pleased with the end result and thankful for their customer service. A couple of years ago, Edinburgh Flooring Company laid a wonderful wooden floor in my flat. However recently, following a leak in the plumbing underneath, they came promptly to work with my plumber to gain underfloor access for him. When he has finished they then restored the floor and the skirtings to their former glory. There were several different specialists required and they worked to ensure the job was done as efficiently as possible.
The quality of the work was excellent. I would fully recommend the company to anyone wishing to have flooring laid in their premises or home.

I found the service to be excellent. Darren was knowledgeable and skilled at his job. He took the time to talk me through the job and was very happy to answer my questions. He worked diligently and kept the room clean. Darren's enthusiasm for his work is to his credit. We now have a beautiful wooden floor in our dining room.

Needed team to save our new home from the flooring mess thought acceptable by developer and less than professional flooring sub-contractor.

Mark helped me chose Kahrs engineered flooring for living room and hall. Work was completed efficiently and on time, just before Christmas. Mark also recommended a company to supply and fit my new front door, made as a replica on the original 1930 wood door. It looks great. I am not generally lucky with tradesmen, so I was so pleased with the attention and good service from this company.

We have had the benefit of flooring being done twice by EFC. They have done the entirety of our downstairs flooring, and our stairs. The service on both occasions was especially prompt and high quality. And, on the second occasion, they were able to fit us in during the busy Christmas season. I would definitely recommend them.

Mark gave a lot of his time to help choose the most suitable flooring for a large kitchen with no hard sell. Scott did an excellent job in laying a plywood base and fitting the final Kahrs floor with surrounding skirting. A very professional, efficient and friendly service, would definitely use them again.
