I have had wooden flooring installed in two bedrooms and the whole of my new flat repainted. Edinburgh Flooring Company worked to a very tight schedule as I wanted the work completed before I moved in and new bookshelves were installed. They were reliable, adaptable and extremely helpful. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.

Mark and his team installed engineered wood flooring in three of our bedrooms. Overall, we were absolutely delighted with the service we received from start to finish. Mark was really patient and knowledgable when covering our options with us. The standard of the fitting and finish was brilliant, with no fuss and hastle. They began with expert floor sanding, followed by a meticulous application of a three-layer varnish coating. The entire process was executed with remarkable speed and precision, leaving our home immaculate. I was totally astonished by the result of the sanding of my kitchen floor. It had been sanded before a few years ago but not to the same high standard. I couldn’t believe that my battered, scratched old floorboards would come out looking like new! They repaired small cracks, levelled some uneven patches and sanded the boards to a beautiful smooth, even finish and tone. They came punctually, started on Tuesday morning and Wednesday lunchtime I was able to use the kitchen. It was a lot less noisy and dusty than I thought.
I was also very satisfied with the communication, Mark responded very quickly to my queries.

Very pleased with our new Kahrs Oak floor for the kitchen in our tenement flat in New Town. Mark from EFS was very clear and responsive when providing a quote in line with our needs, and his experience from prior commissions of a similar nature was obvious. They sanded and restained the floors. Really great job and personable team. They were great in sharing options for the staining colours once they'd sanded the floors and being in touch about every apsect we'd asked about. They went over and beyond when things didn't work out because of the cold weather. Plus liasing with my neighbour who has a young child that was disturbed by the sanding noices, to make it work for both them and the baby!

I’ve just fitted Khars camino flooring supplied by Edinburgh Flooring Shop and I’m delighted with the result. I had intended going to one of the large outlets but called into the shop in Morningside to see the options and never looked back.

My fiancé and I hired Edinburgh Flooring to sand and varnish the softwood floors in our new apartment. They did an absolutely fantastic job, and were good value for money.
