I have had a number of small jobs done by Cummings in the bathroom - mainly to make it safe for me to get in and out of the bath and to sit on and get up again from the toilet. Cummings have always been very professional about giving me a quote and turning up when they said they would. The staff I have met were all very polite, did their work quickly and to a high standard. They also cleaned up after themselves which I greatly appreciate. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

Replaced ballcock in tank in loft of block of flats. Previous plumber who came couldn’t find out what was causing the problem ( I’m top flat and the noise was terrible when anyone in the stair was using water).
The guy who came took time to investigate properly and now no noise.

I had an emergency with an overflow from a faulty valve in my cold water tank. Contact was easy and very accommodating to the fact that water was pouring out of the roof overflow. The plumber came promptly and was very efficient and helpful. The overall customer service was first class, and I would highly recommend Cummings as an excellent plumbing service.

Our kitchen sink developed a serious leak last Friday meaning we couldn't use sink or washing machine. We visited Trusted Trader Edinburgh to find a local business from the listing. We chose Cummings as we knew they were just a mile or so away from us. I'm glad we did as they were happy there and then to help us out. I was asked to send photos of the sink pipes which I did. Within an hour or so that same afternoon, they had committed to visiting us on the Monday afternoon (ie the next business day). We were totally happy with that as it wasn't a major leak, just a serious inconvenience. They then contacted us in advance with an arrival time, arrived on time, and completed and tested the fix within 20 mins of getting here. Really efficient and friendly service, and at a totally acceptable cost for the job. Would recommend company to family, friends, and others.

Chris and his team (particularly Craig who is an absolute star!) delivered a complete gut and refit of my top floor tenement bathroom. Removing the roof tank and bulkhead, replastering, retiling, replumbing, new shower, bath, sink, toilet, tiles, floor, painting, and fittings.

Even with a mishap from my suppliers for the bath they were positive, supportive, and professional the whole time (and just generally a lovely friendly team).
They asked for my input when needed for placement of things, talked me through any problems or limitations we faced and have left me with the most gorgeous new bathroom.

Chris and I chatted through all the parts needed via email regularly and he supported me in finding the right options for flooring and other areas I didn't have full knowledge of.

It was a big job but nothing was too much hassle for any of them.

Super reliable, friendly, great workmanship, problem solving and generally getting stuff done.

I needed a repair on a faulty cistern unit in my main bathroom.
I found the Cummings contact details and phoned. Got an answerphone message and was asked to leave a message. I was surprised to get a call back within half an hour. After a short description , Chris arranged an appointment. On the day , Gordon arrived promptly , fixed the fault , and was on his way with no fuss. Friendly , efficient , and helpful. Great service and value for money. Ten out of ten. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for your plumbing requirements.

Had a leak under my sink... only a small job but this was dealt with speedily and readily by Cummings Plumbing Ltd.

The man who came along to do the job (unfortunately forgotten his name) was so really nice and very helpful. He got the part needed and thankfully fixed the leak quickly. I was kept informed at all times and was really happy with the job and the service.

Chris Cummings and his team have worked here on several occasions. They are always professional, courteous, helpful and responsive.

I particularly like that appointments are allocated in 2-hour slots. Best of all, the fact that there is real transparency on charging (at a reasonable fixed standard hourly rate), is a very positive, reassuring approach.

Work involved a complete bathroom refurbishment. Chris provided a realistic quote for the refurbishment and Craig provided an excellent fitting and customer care service. Chris has done several plumbing jobs for me over a few years. He is always prompt, reliable, very reasonable, courteous and a very genuine person to deal with. The most recent job he completed was a full bathroom refit in a small flat. This entailed a bit more work than originally planned but his suggestions were always appropriate and the work was finished on time, on budget and to a very high standard with the minimum of fuss.
