We had a new boiler installed by Celsius some time ago, unfortunately we failed to keep up the yearly maintenance contract, so when the boiler did eventually develop a fault we called Celsius. They waved away the fact that we had not maintained the boiler in a timely manner, they order the part and had it replaced within a couple of days!! And when they billed us for the work, they did not punish us for not rigidly sticking to the maintenance terms....

Would highly recommend Michael and his team. They arrived when they said they would, I even got an Uber style tracking map to view the engineer arriving to my house! As a health and safety officer, I was pleased to see the engineer carry out a pre-works risk assessment on his tablet before starting work. The job report was also great with the work done to a very high standard. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve used Celsius a few times now, for a replacement boiler, insulation and servicing. I’d highly recommend this business - the staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Even at short notice they’ll do their best to accommodate. Particularly commendable for the work they do with the elderly at cold times of the year. Pricing is highly competitive and work is always thorough - no return visits like with other tradesmen I’ve used before.

I really cannot recommend Celsius enough - the second I had a problem, I was able to book them in, get a date and track the engineer to my door. So impressed! What other company in Edinburgh allows you to do that? When the engineer turned up, he was so helpful and took the time to not only look at my problem but also give me some advice about a couple of other things I asked about. I'm so happy with the service, the quote I was given, and the exceptionally competitive price. On the day, the engineer left my house super tidy, and the job looked neat and clean, leaving me feeling confident about having guests over. Great work, guys!

Have used Celcius Plumbing for many years for boiler repair and maintenance. On occasions when the boiler cut out, Celcius have always been quick to respond. We recently had a new boiler installed. Sadly the incorrect boiler was installed but this was promptly rectified by Celcius plumbing. The new boiler has proved reliable and has been maintenance free. Celcius plumbing always turn up when they say they will and I usually receive a phone call to say they are on their way.

We were let down twice by another company so decided to try this company.
From the get go they were polite and seemed great. The engineers were also polite, arrived on time and done the job then cleaned up as they went.

Celsius originally installed my boiler system and have serviced it every year since. I manage my own extensive property portfolio. I use Celcius Plumbing not only for annual services and scheduled works but emergency call outs. The reason for this is I find the value for money to be of a consistent high level along with customer service - when they say they will be there, they are there.. if they can’t they call ahead so you are not wasting you day waiting. Also before they start the job, they give you a schematic drawing so you can understand the quote and work involved.

I had a burst water main and they attended within 30mins and saved my business from a catastrophic flood.
I have since asked them to attend to other jobs and they have never once been late or not attended like other firms do.
Also, they also take all debris away after completing repair jobs.

Outstanding in every way. The quality and standard of the work, of course, but the customer service is second to none. They are community-minded and not a 'profit at any cost' kind of business. I had 4 companies out to quote me for a new boiler and by far Celsius offered me the most professional service. Their quote was quick, professionally presented and offered great value, so I decided to choose them as they gave me more confidence than the others. Buying a new boiler is a big cost, so I wanted to get it right. From initial quote to the engineers fitting the new boiler, I couldn’t be happier with the service. This company is very well ran and they really do care about their customer service. I didn’t want a man in a van fitting my boiler today and be gone tomorrow, so choosing Celsius was the right decision for me. If you are reading this and need a new boiler, pick up the phone to them. Have had a few issues which needed urgent attention. The process from my first call to the office up until the job was complete was second to none. Every staff member I dealt with was of a high standard and could not have done any more for me. Really nice Engineer came out and sorted the issues and all been great since.

The team at Celsius Plumbing and heating are top notch.
The gave me the best advice on what to do with my boiler that broke down and saved me loads of money . Another apparently qualified boiler company had said it needed replaced but Celcius showed that it was a heat exchanger part that needed replaced , and there was a way to do it with a long term guarantee that was way more effective .
No hesitation in recommending them.

The team at Celsius have been a breath of fresh air. I manage pubs and restaurants all over Edinburgh and they are always there when we need them. They are on hand 24/7, I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Had boiler repair done on a relatively old, but reliable system boiler. The engineer, Aiden, was both professional and reliable as well as friendly - A pleasure to have working in my home, which is sometimes a worry for some people. They were great in being able to come out at short notice to get the problem sorted, which was great. Was more than happy to work on an old system and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently. When the parts were ordered, which is sometimes a problem sourcing with these older boiler, with a limited availability of spare parts, the repair was carried out with the same care, professionalism and proficiency as the initial diagnosis. Would highly recommend - Professional, punctual, reliable and a friendly, trustworthy service.

I had Celsius installing our gas central heating a couple of years ago. They were absolutely brilliant. They carried out the work very quickly, finished when they said they would and always there to explain everything about different types of boilers, etc. Servicing the boiler each year, and everything has been working perfectly. Previously Celsius replaced a plate to plate heat exchanger and I was very happy with their work. when my boiler stopped working again, I recontacted them for help. Appointment made promptly, text sent to say the engineer was on his way plus a call for good luck. Two different companies had both advised me that I needed a new boiler, apparently the boiler that I had had working perfectly for 8 years was too big for my pipework in the flat. So I decided to try these guys as last hope and had been advised they were the best deal for value for money. Yet after they showed up, which was within 24 hours of calling, they actually only charged me a little more then half of what I had already had told them I would be very happy to pay. So so happy with the service and would recommend to anyone. Will never ever try anyone else and will be sending all my family and friends to them with confidence. Many many thanks boys.

When my boiler went down I contacted Celsius, who attended when they said they would. I was even able to track their engineer right to my from door. I hate waiting in for tradesmen, so this was a real plus for me. They came, provided me a quote on the Monday and installed my boiler the very next day. The engineer was very courteous and took care of all my warranty paperwork. If your boiler goes down, give Celsius a call, they are exceptional.

We modernised our house in 1987 – but time marches on and in 2019 we refurbished our heating and plumbing systems. New efficient condensing boiler, and that meant we had to re-plumb the radiators down stairs. That also involved getting stuff done to our electricity earthing system. To this we added a new unvented, indirect, hot water cylinder to remove a cold tank in the roof and get better water pressure. All in a house built 120 years ago. We went with Celsius, new, lively, highly qualified and mostly not born when we first modernised the house. They were quick to give us an estimate – and kept to it.
They did exactly what it said on the tin, and more. Good advice on what to do and how. Clarity about what we had to do – like clearing room to work. They turned up on time, with good early starts and worked methodically. It was planned to take 3 days and did.
Except, the old house with long pipes and a mixture of systems threw up airlocks. An extra day was involved, with extra hands brought in. We messed them about by changing our mind on Day 1 and asking for 3 radiators to be changed – that would be fine. All taken in good part.
Meanwhile back at Celsius Control, everything was being monitored and managed – the office team were cheerful and helpful. Paperwork arrived by email. So a major piece of work was made to seem efficient, effortless, clean and tidy. It was a very good price too.

Celsius gave me a very quick and reasonable quote to install a new combi boiler after the old one packed in. After I decided to accept their quote on Monday they were able to slot me at very short notice and had my hot water and heating back on tap by the Wednesday!

By far the most customer-service oriented business I've come across in this industry. The team at Celsius are great, work is always done to a high standard and the proactive communication is something I've rarely seen before in a trades-based business.
