Combi boiler broke down. Had no heating or hot water. Telephone receptionist warm helpful professional. Trusted straight away when she suggested I try something first before calling out. Clear. Got engineer same day, who fixed it quickly and efficiently. Professional, friendly and helpful. Had appointment for evening (same price) but got message later offering an earlier cancelled appointment. Great.

Just a boiler servicing, but great service from booking the appointment to getting the work done. This was my first time using Celsius, but I will use them again.

Fitted the new kitchen taps, renewed faulty drains, sorted the pipe work to and from the dishwasher and washing machine plus fixed leaks. A job well done, it looks like a professional job now and not a spaghetti mess!

I had 2 radiators installed. Very pleasant plumbers, worked away till they were satisfied with the job. I needed the job done quickly and Celsius did this for me. I found this firm myself as the plumber who originally started the job did not answer my calls or texts do I had to find someone else to fo it.

Gas boiler service. Very courteous and efficient. Telephoned 15 mins before arrival and made sure I was aware what he was planning to do before he did it. A very painless experience.

Boiler service to fulfil warranty obligations. I have no way of quantifying the work carried out as I have no technical expertise; I can only trust that what is said was done, and to an acceptable standard.
It would be good to have a 'don't know' option in your ratings-scale.
Celsius have always been polite and professional in all their business, which is why I would be likely to recommend them. The engineers are always punctual, courteous, and helpful with their explanations.
However, I find the price of an annual boiler check extremely high. I bought my boiler from Celsius, which was a significant financial outlay. Over the ten years of warrantee services I will have paid nearly £900 extra. This seems like a large additional cost.

We have needed a plumber for ages to replace a tap and fix a toilet eco-flush, but it is hard to get someone for a small job. Celsius were excellent from start to finish. Friendly, helpful and accessible office staff. Efficient and knowledgeable plumbers. The repairs weren’t complicated, but they were quick, did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and for the price they quoted. A really positive experience and very highly recommended.

The ability to phone and talk to a person at the company is a huge advantage over other companies using automated systems and terrible "on hold" music.

Really pleased with the service. I made a booking for the annual boiler service and they came the next day. Within a few minutes I got a text and email confirmation. The engineer called me half an hour before he arrived. Just the service I was looking for as the company I have been using for many years had let me down with continually giving me dates and then not turning up on more than one occasion.

Fantastic job from start to finish on a new boiler installation. Good communication throughout, kept me informed of progress and did a great tidy up job at the end. The team who did the installation were really polite and gave me a in depth talk through of how to operate the boiler. Highly recommend Celsius.

We were having difficulty tracing the source of a leak in our heating system, which had already caused damage to the ceiling of a room below our boiler. Celsius were prompt about sending an engineer to help us open up the damaged ceiling to trace the source, which was in an inaccessible area behind the hot water storage tank. They came and quoted for removal of the tank to inspect the leak and rectify the situation. Their engineers such as Aidan were punctual, courteous and efficient. They replaced the faulty section of piping and re-installed the hot water tank with a minimum of fuss, leaving our boiler room tidy. Communication from Celsius as a whole has always been timely, courteous and clear. We shall wait to see if no more leaks ensue but we feel confident that we can trust Celsius to follow up if there are any issues.

Have used Celsius a few times for repair and servicing. Always excellent and brilliant friendly engineers.

Due to a misunderstanding with my letting agent I didn't understand the access needed and left a 3 generation's old china cabinet in the hall. Mark and Robert must have emptied it, moved it, then put it all back, to get it out the way. It undoubtedly put them behind time and I am so grateful for their care. It's not worth anything, but the cabinet and it's contents have massive sentimental value to me and my family. I can't overstate how much it meant to me, and how bad I felt that I did move it in the first place! Absolutely great, great big virtual hug. Thank you so much.

My first and definitely last time using Edinburgh Trusted Trader. This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had of hiring a plumber.

They charged £90 for an initial callout during which it was established my water heater was broken. Which... I already knew for free. The engineer they sent didn't follow any of the covid safety procedures they outlined, including me having to ask him to put his mask on properly. I was left for several days with the water heater leaking slightly worse than it had been before I called them out. When I checked it in the evening, I found the multi socket plug I'd raised concerns about had been left directly below the leak, sitting in 3mm of pooled water. He also left a horrendous mess, saying he'd left his cleaning things in the van.

They mistook a clear enquiry as to whether a particular model might work as a request for it and, despite repeatedly saying I didn't think it would work, went ahead and ordered it. At least they listened when I pointed out the need for a 2kW heater, rather than the 3kW one I tried asking their opinion on. But in the end they ordered and fitted a version that simply doesn't fit the limited space available.

I'm left almost £400 out of pocket, with a water heater that more or less works, but there's no way to see what temperature it's set at in the too-small space, so it's pure guesswork trying to get the temperature right.

Bonus points for making it almost impossible to reach the stopcock now and refusing to supply any paperwork guaranteeing their work.

I had to get a new boiler installed due to my old one giving in. When I first called Celsius I felt relief and in safe hand almost immediately. Someone was sent out promptly in order to inspect and write up a quote. All my answers and worries were answered - I took less than a week to get that quote and it was a reasonable price. I also at the same time had someone come out to look at bath taps that weren’t running water when I opened them and this was inspected and diagnosed. I was without hot water and heating I was treated as a priority. I couldn’t recommend Celsius more and I’m going to tell anyone and everyone who tells me they have plumbing issues to call them ASAP.

Removal and replacement of a broken Feroli gas boiler with a new Worcester boiler. This required an upgrade to my gas supply pipe under the floorboards from the meter to the boiler approx 14mtrs. As no boiler meant no heating or hot water for the household, the Celsius team worked through a weekend for an early installation. Despite the old tenement complications, we have a great new boiler installed and fully functioning by Sunday evening. This is the 5th time I've used them. Well done again Celsius.

I have used Celsius Plumbing and Heating for a number of various jobs (heating, boiler check etc) I have always found the service provided (by both their engineers and admin staff) to be trustworthy and prompt. On this occasion I was replacing a bathroom radiator and again the engineer was helpful, polite and thorough. The work area was left clean and tidy.

Everything was great. I phoned to get an appointment for a radiator to be replaced and a couple of leaks to be fixed. The guy on the phone was knowledgeable and managed to get me an appointment for the next day, which was ideal. On the day, the engineer showed up in time and completed the work in 2 hours. Can't complain about the quality of the work done. Highly recommended.

Work included the removal of surplus piping from a removed former bathroom and installation of a new toilet flushing mechanism.

I’ve used this plumbers twice and both times they have been prompt, reliable and well-organised.

However, be warned that I was charged for a call out and when the plumber came, this turned into what was effectively just a quote (if I’d have asked for a quote it would have been free) and still had to pay for this (even though no physical work was actually undertaken at all). Don’t fall into this mistake!

The plumber unblocked a drain. I was pleased to have a quick response, the same morning.

Sent out a few emails for quotes for fitting a tap. Celsius was the most responsive and gave a very competitive quote. Work was arranged to be carried out in less than a day and tap was installed in less than an hour. Very happy with the work and excellent service from the engineer.

Resealed a leaking radiator. Couldn’t be happier with the work and the trader. Would use again.

My Boiler had a fault 2 days before Christmas. Celsius Heating came round the same day to fix it.
The fault happened again on Christmas Eve (everywhere was closed) but Michael the owner of Celsius popped round and fixed the issue and made sure it was all working fine for Christmas.
That is what I call Customer Service!

Arrived on time were very pleasant and fixed the problem. Took all precautions against covid and left me very happy.

Had a problem with boiler loosing pressure. As they had installed the boiler and I have it serviced annually by them they attended and rectified what they perceived was problem at no charge to me.
Unfortunately a few weeks later problem returned. They identified that the issue was work that would be covered by warranty.
They contacted manufacturer on my behalf and problem was dealt with the next day.
Not a lot of companies own a problem these days and I will have no hesitation in recommending Celsius. First class customer service.

New central heating system fitted and annual service

The condensate in our boiler had frozen on Saturday and we were without heating and hot water.
I called Celsius Plumbing early afternoonand was able to speak to the on-call plumber.
He arrived later the same day and fixed the problem for us.
We were very happy with the service overall and would not hesitate to use Celsius again.

The diverter valve on the boiler needed to be replaced. Friendly and very prompt service. Was kept up to date at each stage. Pandemic guidelines adhered to such as distancing, mask wearing and wiping down surfaces afterwards. Very happy with my experience, and would recommend them.

Free checkup of a boiler installed last year

Needed to have my boiler checked as the pressure was dropping and overheating regularly. Initial spoke to a very helpful guy who booked an engineer for the next morning. The engineer called before his arrival to advise me when he would be. He knew exactly what he was doing, was happy to answer my questions and was very polite. Never used this company before but wouldn’t hesitate to call them in the future and recommend to others. Really good when you find a company that you can trust.

I had a leak from my kitchen sink. It was sorted in 45 minutes. Very prompt service also.

I required to use Celsius in an emergency situation, Keith undertook two visits, initially to temporarily repair my boiler and subsequently to replace the fan unit. On both occasions he arrived timeously having kept in contact to advise of any delays. He observed strict Covid procedures at all times whilst in the house and ensured that he tidied up after him. I was very pleased with the overall service provided particularly the regular communication and updates sent by email/text and the simple payment process.
I would certainly use Celsius again should I be in a similar situation.

If its doable it will get done in no time at lowest price possible every time. Its starting to feel like family rather then business very happy again lol

Problem solving, polite helpful and well equipped

We called Celsius Plumbing based on the good reviews and I am very happy with the quality of the job done and their costumer service which I thought it was great. Friendly, quick response and reasonably priced.

The job was to disconnect an old cold water tank and rework the pipes so I could floor the loft. This was done within a couple of hours and the engineer did a very good job at lowering the pipework so I could floor that section of the loft. Everything was kept very tidy during and after the job was completed and they even sent a engineer report with images and details of what was done. I would definitely recommend to others.

Keith Kinnaird from Celcius was prompt, polite, and efficient. He phoned to say he was on his way, then was polite and swift, and followed all Covid protocols. I will use again next year.

This week it was the annual boiler and unvented cylinder service. Easy to book, the engineer turned up exactly on time, wore his mask properly, got straight down to work, asked the right questions, and left us feeling assured that everything had been checked.

We knew it would be fine as this was a new installation by Celsius 2 years ago which transformed the heating of the house (and reduced the bills considerably). Even so we recognise that regular servicing is vital - and we will be getting the team at Celsius to do it.

I was particularly impressed as I phoned the company who are very local to my daughters flat and they came and had a quick look to see if it was a just a matter of topping the boiler up. It was, and no charge. Neither I nor my daughter knew we needed to do this.
I then booked a service of gas fire and boiler which Aiden carried out very efficiently.
Very pleased with whole service.

My boiler was faulty, turning on but not heating the radiators or water. Celsius gave me a slot the same day I phoned and Aiden came. He was fantastic! He managed to solve the problem, it needed a replacement of a sensor. He did the job quickly, he answered all of my questions and explained everything really clearly. Aiden was brilliant, he was so friendly and so helpful. Any questions I had regarding any other issues ie my shower, the thermostat he looked at everything properly to help sort any issue I had. Really happy with the service. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

After reading great things about this company I decided to use Celsius for my annual servicing. I have been a British Gas customer for over 20 years and thought I was receiving good service until I tried Celsius.

Like many of there other reviews, this is a very well ran organisation. From the chap in the office I spoke to, and the technician arriving, I was amazed how a small local business can outclass a giant in the industry. Cannot recommended Celsius highly enough.

Radiator valve tightened

Refreshingly seem less process from the minute I logged the issue regards my boiler, I received a callback within 15mins and an engineer on-site within 2 hours.

The property is lived in by my elderly father-in-law, the call handler explained this would be a priority given his age, System back up and working same day, with further remedial works to follow. A quote received almost instantly which we approved then a date to return and carry out the works. These guys really are a great company.
