I have now used Celsius Plumbing on several occasions to carry out central heating boiler servicing and repairs. They have at all times, been prompt, efficient, friendly and courteous.
During our most recent boiler service, the engineer (Blair) went out of his way to provide supplementary advice on the system’s operation.
If I could provide them with a 6-star rating, I would!

We use Celsius for our boiler service. 3rd year in a row. Guys are always polite and friendly.
They send us an appointment each year so we don’t have to remember and always turn up when they say they will. I find this a super useful service and find their pricing clear and fair.

Boiler faulty; interment on and off. Deduced problem was timer / thermostat and signal from the boiler one to wall controlled one. First replacement had a fault in the appliance. Engineer deduced this and wired it up as a ‘permanent on’, as it was Friday afternoon and no new part obtainable till Monday. Managed to squeeze me in earlier than an available slot, at last minute, to fit the new, non-faulty, appliance. Because the quote is agreed and paid up-front, there was no further charge for the extra engineer time which resulted. Polite, conscientious, efficient, with a good appointments and payment system

Connor and Blair were great they found the problem quickly were great at communicating when they were arriving and what the issue was. They were back the next day after obtaining the part and fixed it in no time. Double checking that our heating was working before leaving. We couldn't have asked for better service or nicer guys.

Boiler service - Connor texted me in advance to let me know he was coming, then arrived on time and carried out the service. This was all good but what really made this service outstanding was that when carrying out the service he noticed another issue we had, not actually connected to the boiler, and quickly fixed it without us even asking him to look at it. This is beyond the normal level of service I would expect, and was very much appreciated. As a result I would not hesitate to use Celsius again.

Recurring problem with boiler cutting out so no hot water and heating. Re-pressurised a few times but no change. Connor came to look at it was on time, messaged beforehand which was good as we have dogs. He was thorough and found the problem, explained what he had done, was very quick and tidy. Explained a part should be replaced sometime soon so we asked for a quote to be sent. Very happy (and warm) with the service provided.

Electric shower replacement. Sebastian in the customer service team was brilliant, he was so helpful and very reassuring. I was booked in promptly and so happy that they could fit my job in.
When Connor & Blair arrived to complete the job they arrived within the time window and took their time to ensure that everything was installed to my satisfaction. They took time to explain how to use the new shower and register the guarantee and even have me recommendations of who could complete another job I had in mind. I hope I don’t need to use them again and that my shower works for a long time but if I do ever need any plumbing work done Celsius would be my 1st choice. Thank you so much

Great service from start to finish. Our engineer Connor was very friendly, professional and completed the job in a timely manner. Connor re-routed a gas pipe in our kitchen and carried out a tightness test afterwards to ensure there were no leaks. It was very easy to make the appointment and we were seen within 48 hours of paying the invoice. We’d definitely use Celsius again.

I had assessed and clarified the problem resetting etc both Hive and boiler. I described it to Celsius online in their booking system. As a medic I was interested to know what “professionalism” meant for a heating repair company. As well as the excellent (and educational) work done in the house by Connor, I got a full clear email personal explanation from the “boss” that matched the same standards as a professional medical service should do. Basically Celsius do free guidance and assessing that the problem described is recognised and appropriate for their services enough to pay in advance for the visit.
In short, Celsius has the highest professional standards before and throughout the work — prompt diagnosis, repair and follow through. The cost of trustworthy professionalism is worth it — as in the tale ending “It’s £5 for banging the pipe and £95 for knowing where to hit it”!!

We have our old gas hob replaced by a new one. I measured the size of the hob and bought a new hob with similar size. Jamie was the gas engineer to install the new one. It had to cut a little bit of the working top to fit the new hob. Jamie had to spent some time to cut the wood, which I felt it was a bit extra work than I thought. The installation was successful and I am very happy with the work done. Excellent work!

Had Conan from Celcius out this morning for our yearly boiler service. Once again super happy with the service provided. Conan was here on time and carried out the work in a timely manner. Very polite and updated me once service was complete.

Needed a replacement boiler. After looking at what was available in Edinburgh I chose Celsius Plumbing as they offered the best choice of boiler and installation cost. From the initial consultation to the installation and the aftercare I found Celsius Plumbing friendly professional and thorough. The installation was completed in one day, and they dealt with all the registration and warranties within days. A very stress-free and pleasant experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing a new boiler

Restarting boiler which had stopped working. Jamie came as quickly as he could and arrived when he said he would. He explained clearly what was needed and completed the work very efficiently. He was very helpful and made sure I understood what I need to look out for in the future. I could not ask for anything better.

I have hot water flow from my new tank which is great as it was very bad before. The new shower is great and I am extremely happy with the finished product. My new tank also appears to be saving me money in electricity. The engineers were all very pleasant when they came out too.
There were a couple of things, such as originally making a very bad job of resealing the bath, forgetting to take old products away and connecting my new water tank to the booster submersible instead of the one that heats it from the bottom. They did always send someone to come out and fix all these issues when I raised them; however, I would have not know that my new tank was not heating from the bottom if I did not have to call out an elrctrician out.
But the end product is great which is what matters, and I am happy with it.

Boiler service , the service we received was off the scale , we received a quote promptly , we were then sent a schedule of work , time and date , inbetween we were sent some gentle reminders , but what was very impressive was the information about the importance of maintaining your bolier and other interesting pieces of info . On the day we were told the engineer would be here at 0800 , he arrived at 0800 , the engineer was polite , knowledgeable and informative . Highly recommended

Was needing my elderly dad’s gas fire serviced and after a quick check of this company online, decided to go ahead with it.
Service engineer kept me informed about the time slot and carried out the service of what is a very old wall mounted gas fire.

New shower fitted. The temperature was erratic and water pressure low.
We asked for an engineer to come back. They sent the same engineer. He said that there was nothing wrong with the temperature, that we were using the shower wrongly. He also said that there was nothing he could do about the water pressure.
We then asked the company to send someone else. They said no- in a text message! They said the water pressure was as good as it will be. Which didn't make sense with a like for like wattage with our previous shower of 8.5kw. No phone call reply. I couldn't speak to anyone in management. Just texts in return to my calls.
They sent an apprentice and he saw straight away that the shower had been fitted incorrectly. The shower dial was upsidedown. He fixed the problem.
The engineer not only fitted the shower incorrectly but took the instructions to the new shower away. On his return he didn't notice the problem which the apprentice noticed in two seconds.
Bad service. Bad communication. Bad management. The most frustrating part was having to get my father and husband to talk to the company after feeling very frustrated and unheard. Also it is this company's policy to pay before the work is carried out! I am now waiting on a partial refund. I have also spent two afternoons waiting in for the company to come. All in all a bad experience.
