Derek White started his apprenticeship in Barrhead in 1987, has run D W Plumbing & Heating from Newton Mearns since 2006, and spent seven years teaching plumbing, heating and gas to college apprentices. Alongside the plumbing and heating he carries the leadwork that most plumbers do not touch.
