Our french doors wouldn’t lock. I called Barrhead Lock & Door Co and David was here within an hour. He assessed what the problem was, quoted me a price, and then went straight ahead and did the job. Excellent service. Called after snapping key in front door and arrived within 30 minutes. Lock fixed and new key made. Highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding service! The bottom plate that holds the locking bolt in alignment had sheared on our door and was stopping the door from locking properly. David had assessed and fix the door within 15mins. I also had asked him to have a look at our front door as it was quite awkward to get it to lock, the door had dropped and David adjusted the hinges and lubricated all the moving parts and the door locks without any problem now. Both doors fixed at a great price too, I'd highly recommend David ,total gentleman and would definitely use him again

David was brilliant. We were locked out our shop and with a busy clinic starting at 9am he came down straight away as soon as he got the phone call and had us in the door in 5 minutes. Excellent service and what a lovely Gent. Thank you from all the staff, you saved the day!

Having used Trusted Traders to find a locksmith and chosen Barrhead lock and door Company due to the reviews left I would totally endorse all that has been said about David. Professional, efficient, trustworthy, and extremely knowledgeable. We had an issue with our locking mechanism on our conservatory door which David knew exactly the problem and fixed it with a new part there and then. He gave us advice re our patio doors which actually opened when we tried them! (Had not opened since the summer).We have also ordered a new front door lock which will be fitted this week at a reasonable cost. We cannot recommend David highly enough. Very impressed

Replaced back door lock 4 months ago.
Great service from the young man.
Then yesterday, a fault developed with the key (s),caused by our ignorance.
Got in touch with David today...he arrived within the hour and fixed our self.inflicted fault and did not charge..even though he would have been justified in doing so.
Great service...Highly Recommended.

Called Sunday as issue with lock. Replacement lock fitted next day, arrived as scheduled, explained options.

Phoned first thing Sat morning had front door handles fixed by 10.30am. Highly recommend.

Porch door needed three hinges. David obtained identical replacements and fitted them to bring the door back to original spec. Very pleased with David's work and his friendly and helpful approach. If I have a window or door problem in the future, I won't hesitate to call David.
