Our third round of development with Platinum was our lounge and snug area, and we’re absolutely delighted with the result.
As usual, we had a clear view on what we wanted and it wasn’t straightforward this time. But Micheal worked with us and his suppliers to achieve our desired result and it surpassed expectations. Our bespoke double sided stone fireplace is beautiful, creating a separate snug/library area whilst still feeling part of a larger living space.
The entire room was gutted, with new electrics, radiators, wooden flooring, joinery, plastering and decoration. As usual, the team were a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Only one room to go now and they’ll have extended and renovated every inch of our cottage. Have already recommended to friends! Thank you again Platinum.

Platinum Property Services have completed a conversion of a former office building in Mill Lane, Edinburgh to six apartments with a construction cost in the region of £600k.
Fantastic approach, quick, efficient and met their targets every time. Site agent was focused on the delivery and all the operatives were of a very high standard.
If you check their Facebook page you will see a video of the final development which was completed on time ( slight delay due to COVID but that was out of their control) and on budget.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I am a chartered structural engineer and been in the construction industry for over 40 years. I have worked with many contractors over the years and Platinum is one of the best.

We asked Platinum Property Services to give us a quote for our planned house alterations. The work involved was converting our old tired kitchen and separate dinning room into one contemporary space for entertaining, cooking and modern family life. From the go, PPS were on the ball with a clear pricing structure, they were very professional, and always happy to answer an questions along the way. The team were always punctual and friendly and took all the stress out what could have been a stressful time.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Platinum for their excellent communication, for the high quality of their work and for their attention to detail. The quality of the finish is outstanding.
Platinum partially demolished and rebuilt an old extension to a listed building. Michael Burns's advice at the pre-project stage was invaluable: he guided us through the possibilities for renovation. His advice was very accurate in every respect. For us, this was a major undertaking which meant the demolition of half of our home. Throughout the project, Michael's communication was excellent: he explained the whole process to us in detail, he introduced us to his staff and explained what they would be doing at each individual stage of the work. Throughout the project we knew what to expect and the work was carried out in the manner and to the timescale that was promised at the outset. All of the Platinum workers are friendly and helpful; they are also extremely skilled and hard-working. At the end of the project, Michael engaged a cleaning company and jet cleaned our old decking. They also hung curtain tracks for us - nothing was too much trouble.
The old part of our house now needs to be upgraded with new floors and a new bathroom, among other things, and we will be approaching Platinum in the hope that they will be interested in this next stage of renovation.

My heating and hot water stopped working. I called platinum property services. The existing boiler mate I had in the property had a bulge in the water tank. The circuit board had blown and broken pump. The guys should me all of the above and I was satisfied of what the situation was. Platinum gave us all options including replacement which we opted for or repairs. I got a quote from Scottish gas as a precaution and Platinum where £2300 cheaper than them. They came on the scheduled day to carry out the essential work during the covid 19 situation and followed government guidelines go work in a safe manner. They completed the work in a day all be it taking them around 11 working hour. The organisation, quality of work and the friendly staff made them a dream to work with. I will not go anywhere other than Platinum Property Services in the future. Great work guys.

Platinum Property Services, were our first choice of builder for our 'forever home renovation project.

Michael, the owner provided a detailed breakdown of the cost, material and approximate plan/timeline for the build. Michael would make himself available for regular site visits, take ownership of project issues to conclusion, and provided timely responses to email enquires with guidance and option appraisals, to help us make informed decisions.

The Platinum Property Service build team were courteous to our neighbours, and ensured that security was maintained on completion of the day's build.

A snagging list was compiled by myself and the Architect, and was remediated before the project was signed off as completed and another 6 month snagging meeting has been organised for after the completion.

The project was completed on time and to budget, according to changes that we identified throughout the build.

The whole experience of the build project was excellent. A thoroughly professional company which puts the customer first at all times. We would highly recommend them.

Michael was really easy to chat with which made the decision to go with Platinum for our loft conversion an easy one. The guys onsite were approachable and you could ask them any question about anything on the job. We were able to chat through certain things we wanted and nothing was too big a problem. Gordon the foreman was excellent and made sure we were kept up to date with progress. Have recommended Platinum to several friends already and would use again.

Had our canteen replaced. Delighted with the service from getting a quote to it all being fitted. Platinum worked round our needs as a business and no detail or question was a bother. The work was carried out quickly and to a high standard and all COVID precautions adhered to. So pleased with the work I have already asked for quotes for more work to be carried out that we have put off getting done. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Platinum have just completed our extension. They completed it start to finish in the time they said they would. The finish and attention to detail is superb. The guys on site were friendly and polite. No request was too much trouble.

We had a new consumer box, additional sockets and heat detectors fitted extremely ably and professionally by Chris at Platinum Electrical Division. He showed up on time and was helpful and knowledgeable. The job was completed within a day and a morning. Very pleased with the work and I will use Platinum again without a doubt!

We had an extension added to the rear of our property creating an open plan Kitchen, dining and living room. This also included a separate utility room.

work was carried out to a very high standard, completed within the estimated time. The team were reliable and knew exactly what they were doing during all aspects of the project.

Platinum Property Services are a local company who clearly value their good, local reputation. They have built us a small extension increasing the size of a downstairs bedroom and creating a shower room from an existing cloakroom. They worked steadily through the project including outside work during the one freezing/sleeting week at the end of last year. All their trades were friendly and helpful - and got on well with the dogs! The work was completed within tender, plus some well priced additions and variations which were delivered, so there were definitely no unwelcome surprises and they have cleared up all the inevitable temporary disruption at the end of the work.
