We had a single story extension added to our home and I cannot recommend Platinum enough!
Michael replied to every email in a timely and patient manner – I had A LOT of questions. The crew working on the job were also fabulous. Very easy to communicate with and respectful of ourselves and more importantly - our neighbours. The billing and pricing was very transparent and easy to follow. The crew show up every day and worked so hard – they finished ahead of schedule – thank you so much guys.
I wish more trades people and companies could be like Platinum - they are just so reliable and pleasant to deal with.

Home alterations and large extension

Platinum carried out the work to an extremely high standard, from initial consultation right through to completion. could not be happier!

We recently had Platinum build an extension on to the rear of our property. From the first spade in the ground to final completion it took just under four months.

We honestly couldn't recommend the team more highly. They communicated with us clearly and in a timely manner , always working to find solutions where necessary and make recommendations as they saw fit.

Having Michael project manage the works made life that bit easier and left us with time to source our own fixtures and fittings.

We had a two storey extension added to the back of our property. From start to finish, Michael was a pleasure to deal with. Throughout the project, Michael was at hand at any time to answer any queries and kept us fully informed as to timescales, who would be on site and when. The team that did the build were likewise a pleasure to have on site, friendly and keen to ensure that we were not inconvenienced during the build. We could not fault them at all. Each evening the site was left very clean and tidy and on one occasion the guys were actually obliging enough to virtually clear the site so we could have a family party in the garden!!

I have no hesitation in recommending Platinum for any building project and will certainly use them again in the future.

When work was being carried out I was always consulted, and things where done as I wanted it. Nothing was to much trouble for Platinum Property Services. The builders and contractors were friendly.

Michael and his team built an extension to our house adding a downstairs bedroom, shower room, utility room and kitchen/dining room. We are very pleased with the delivery of the work. The project was carried out very smoothly and Michael ensured we were kept up to date about the progression of the project at all times and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. We used Platinum to demolish an old existing extension at the rear of the house, build a new and bigger one at the rear and side - incorporating a larger kitchen, utility room, living area and dining area - and reconfigure some downstairs rooms including the addition of a shower room.

Platinum Property Services have just finished a four month extension at our detached house in East Lothian and we have loved working with them.

We sought five quotes from a variety of builders and their quote was very competitive. Costing was itemised from the start and very transparent. We were given regular, clear financial updates and our build came in on target.

This is the first time we have had building work done and the Director and our project manager, Michael, was endlessly patient with my millions of questions.

Extension: A nice company, good to have around the place, they are a very hard working team and if in doubt they knew to contact the boss who was always available.  I was enormously impressed by Michael (the boss) by the way he demanded high standards and was ruthless on subcontracted work in his desire to have the perfect finish.

Out building: Great service I have received from Platinum.  You provided exactly what I was looking for at a price I was comfortable with.  The building looks great and you were so accommodating during the project.  I have no qualms whatsoever in recommending Platinum for any work, my experience of response, quality of work and  fairness of prices has ensured that you will be top of my list when considering any future work.

New laminate flooring supplied and fitted.  A water pump and shower supplied and fitted.  A new glazed window supplied and fitted: 10+  Great

New central heating, external doors and windows, new bathroom suite, new kitchen, full property re-wiring, external harling and internal plastering, full joiner package, carpets, lino and wood floor coverings: On time and budget.  The men are great and really happy with all works.

The removed wall between kitchen and dining area and fitted new bespoke kitchen, island, underfloor heating, new patio doors and Karndean flooring.  All trades from joinery to plumbing, electrical, plastering and decoration: Can't fault Platinum, all the trades done a good job.  Can't fault the service, unavoidable problems were dealt with quickly and effectively and everyone was happy to go the extra mile.  They may not be the cheapest but in truth we are more than happy to pay what we did for the quality of workmanship and the excellent service they provided.  With the quality of workmanship, standard of finish and attitudes of everyone we dealt with, were first class overall and we are very happy that we engaged Platinum to do this job.

New internal doors supplied and fitted, new handrail and new external upvc front door: They have never disappointed, this is the third time we have used Platinum in recent years and they will always be my first point of contact.  Highly recommended.

Large extension to rear with some internal alterations: Very satisfied with all aspects of Platinum Property Services.  The build is finished to a high standard and Michael and his team are really easy to get on with.  Any question we had were soon answered and any problems that arrived were soon resolved.  We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Platinum Property Services, and in fact already have.
