Noble Grounds Care

Noble Grounds Care replaced my back and side fence. The quality of their work is excellent - the fence is sturdy and looks fantastic. I needed a custom gate made (rather than a pre-built one), and Alex made one to my specifications. Communication with Alex was great from the start. He was very responsive to email, and answered all my questions. Very reliable - turned up on time for quoting, and for doing the work. Everything was tidied away at the end of each day, and my garden left looking very neat. Overall, I'm very happy with the process and the final product.

Alex laid artificial grass in our back garden which included levelling of a sloped garden and joining areas. Was dubious about turfing but our dog wiped out our lawn so this was the only option!! Absolutely delighted with the finished product, looks great and the finish Alex and team completed was fantastic. Great service throughout and even finished a day earlier than expected which is unheard of for a tradesman :-) Deffo recommend and will use again

Ground clearing and prep. followed by planting of new shrubs and trees in front and back garden.

Alex and his team are an absolute delight to have manage your big gardening projects. The lads continually exceeded our greatest expectations, leaving us with a very beautiful outside space to enjoy this summer and for many summers to come. For us, Alex put in a new hedge, a new fence, new gates, hand built planters, decking, casing for an outside biomass boiler, and cut back some very overgrown hedging. Alex has a very precise attention to detail, and is quite inspiring when you are chatting over different options for the garden with him. He is very professional, and quotes are set out very clearly - which helps with decision making. Alex also suggests different options (such as cheaper wood) if working to a budget. I will definitely get Alex and his team back to do other special project things for the garden. Equally, he is very well priced to do general maintenance such as hedge trimming and lawn cutting. I am so impressed I can honestly say Alex Noble and his team are the best gardeners in Scotland.

Alex made a bespoke fence and gate, and laid a slab pathway. The work was done to a very high standard and within the time quoted. Upon completion everything was left clean and tidy. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and he was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning to the end.

Removed gravel and laid a lawn in the back garden. Couldn't be more pleased with the final result.

After a bad experience on a different slabbing job some years ago, it was a pleasure to work with Alex Noble. The job entailed creation of a patio and slabbing work. He came to view the job promptly and suggested what would work best. He gave a realistic start date and stuck to it. The quality of the work was good and he left the site tidy after he had finished. The quote and the final invoice were detailed and I felt the price provided value for money based on what other similar jobs had cost in the past. Payment was on completion of the job. Overall a very professional job.

Alex was prompt with all communication, provided a full breakdown of costs in the quote and arrived when he arranged to. They worked very quickly and to a very high standard. All waste was removed and the garden was cleaned before they left. Alex is very professional, polite and friendly. His work is brilliant and I'm delighted- I have a garden again. Whole rear garden was cleared and paved, borders were cleared and new top soil added. All rubbish and old shed was removed, leaving a lovely, easy to maintain garden.

Alex communicated well, was flexible when we changed plans and completed the work to a high standard.

We have had Alex out on three separate occasions; firstly to erect a new wooden fence, then to landscape and pave a section of our garden, and last but not least, he built and installed a beautiful wooden gate.
All works have been carried out very professionally and right on quote. As a person, he is very pleasant to deal with and he just cracks on with the job at hand.

Removal of very old broken down metal and wire fencing and gate including removal of overgrown vegetation - replaced with new wooden slatted climb proof fencing.  New gate was also made with metal handle and padlock facility: A great fence which has now made the garden secure and made all the difference to the look of the garden.  People have commented on the high quality of the workmanship and finish of the fencing.

Alex and his crew did an excellent job converting our front garden to a patio and pebble concept. It was a thoroughly professional job. we were kept fully advised throughout the project and our views sought. I will use Noble Grounds Care again.

Felling of Laurel tree and large conifers: Brilliant.  All work was completed very quickly, all waste was taken away and the garden was left very tidy.  Alex was very courteous and kept in contact.  We will certainly be using his services in future - wish we'd found him sooner!

Only a small fencing job but from initial quotation through to completion by excellent, friendly and professional staff, this was a very positive experience. I have no hesitation in recommending Noble Grounds Care and will use them again for similar work in the future.

Remove old wire fence and posts.  New wooden fence posts were put in with postcrete and allowed to set before the rails and slats were fixed to them: Excellent tradesman and I'm highly delighted with the work that Alex and his team have done.  They worked well together as a team and were very pleasant and efficient.  I wouldn't hesitate in using them again or recommending them to anyone else.
