We were looking for someone to replace our decking, repair a fence and to make some planters for us. We contacted Kevin as he is a local tradesman, and we were very pleased we did. He discussed everything with us beforehand, produced detailed estimates and invoices, arrived when he said he would, and carried out the work to our complete satisfaction, as well as giving us excellent advice. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

I engaged Kevin on two occasions,one ,to construct a house name board cemented into a banking,and,on another to remove some lawn to increase parking facilities.
This entailed new wood strips and a considerable gravel upgrade.

We needed a large, tricky and awkward outside gate to be built and fitted. We contacted Kevin and arranged a visit - he assessed the problem, suggested the way to design the gate to work for us, and sent us a quote. Several new fences and some fence and gate repairs in a rural hilly setting. Kevin was really good at keeping us up to speed on the work he was planning to do and wherever there were alternatives, came to discuss with us to agree the best option.

At the rear of our property we have had the garden raised & levelled, decking installed, synthetic grass laid - all wheelchair accessible, raised planter, really pleased with edging.
After a while we started work on the front of the house and asked Kevin to build a bespoke 2 tier planter along the entire side of our garden fence;he suggested a couple of changes which made it even better. we also had a ranch fence built around our garden, which is slightly curved - didn't hold out much hope for the shape but the wood has curved beautifully - Kevin even put a kickplate along the bottom, finishing off the look completely.
Kevin is always on time, nice & early for us which is what we required - very polite, conscientious and friendly - gets the job done without too much fuss, in a reasonable time and great value for money - always pleased to listen, suggest alternatives that might improve and even make suggestions that ultimately make it cheaper for the client.

Kevin extended our decking and put in railway sleepers with a borderline of chips and soil ready for us to plant. As well as doing an incredible job, he was very professional from start to finish- quotes came back promptly and turned up when he said he would and worked extremely hard to get the job done. I could not recommend Kevin enough. Fantastic work and an absolute gentleman.

Job- Additional Decking. From first contact to job completion, very satisfied. Communication great, very reliable and prompt. We wanted some additional decking to add to existing decking. We were going on Holiday so Kevin came round to discuss the job beforehand. Within our discussion, Kevin offered alternative options which were very helpful in making our final choice (saved us on costs). On our return from holiday the fitted Decking was excellent, No mess and ready to enjoy.

I contacted 4 companies including JAG. The first one did not return my call. The second made an appointment and was a no show. The third showed up but never submitted a quote. Then Kevin arrived a breath of fresh air in comparison. He appeared very knowledgeable , helpful and professional.

Fabulous job, Kevin did not disappoint! He made a boundary fence around the front of our garden, laid membrane and finished with beach pebbles. What a difference this has made, delighted with it.
