Business Information
I’m based and live in the heart of East Lothian with my wife, our crazy spaniel and one big black Lab puppy and incidentally, currently renovating and extending our farm cottage near North Berwick – so stay tuned for updates on that on the website! I have been working with homeowners and businesses for over thirty-five years delivering successful projects in Scotland and beyond. In the early days, I worked primarily on larger commercial projects such as hotels, banks, offices, shopping precincts, public houses, schools, universities, and both farm and industrial buildings, here in the UK and in Europe. Over the years I’ve branched out and taken on numerous residential projects from “A” listed buildings to home extensions and attic conversions where all that experience comes in handy! Today helping folks out with their particular projects is very much what I do and enjoy! At the core though, I am still very much a practice with residential architectural expertise at the fore, providing both friendly and hopefully, knowledgeable information to all my clients.

My approach from the outset is to offer a full range of architectural services. This means you can unwind, relax, safe in the knowledge that I'll take care of everything for you. Feasibility studies, planning applications, building warrants, construction, and right through to your completed project - I offer a factual one-stop-shop architectural service and pride myself on finding a balance between how the design can be stretched to make the most of an available budget, whilst bringing new ideas to the table.
I am a small practice and charge (if I say so myself) very reasonable rates. There's no charge for a consultation so why not contact me? Drop me a line, call or message. If you need to see any samples of my work or speak with some current clients then I'll be happy to put you in touch.

Graham undertook everything necessary to obtain a Building Warrant for me to remove an internal wall. From producing the drawings, engaging an engineer, and submitting the application.
He attended exactly when he said he would, understood what I required and talked me through the process (which would have been daunting without his help)

Graham produced drawings, recommended engineers and created the necessary paperwork to obtain a building warrant required for our new kitchen remodelling project. He is friendly, professional, hugely knowledgeable and easy to get on with. Graham is such a lovely guy to work with (likes to talk) but engaging. He took on a difficult piece of work as we changed designer half way through a project. He was up for the challenge and never made this an issue. He was direct and honest at all times. He was responsive by email and phone and a good communicator. He gave us exactly what we asked for. We were exceptionally happy with his work. His costs were about average.
