Laptop upgraded to Windows 11 after it was slowing down and registering many junk files etc.
Staff inspired confidence from the outset - polite and treated an older customer (me) with consideration.
Work completed in a short time and at a very reasonable price.

I asked Andy to build a fast desktop PC for photo editing and possible future video rendering. He built such a PC to my rough specification and within my budget. The whole project was completed within two weeks - well impressed. It is working well so I would recommend Easy PC.

My old HP desktop finally gave up the ghost, just at the same time that my long-standing computer support had to withdraw through ill health. Easy PC provided a new tower computer, and cloned the original hard drive on to the new. I was amazed to find that when I reconnected all the wires, everything was just as it always was, except quicker and without the hiccups I had been increasingly experiencing. So I would give 10/10 for the quality of service, and ditto for courtesy and helpfulness. I shall certainly use again, if necessary.

Computer had locked out day before holiday closures.

I had a problem with email access and inability to use laptop because of this.
I had a prompt response to my request for an appointment and my laptop was fixed very satisfactorily within an hour.
The fee was very reasonable.

Being of an age where I have experienced many computer changeovers and the accompanying days of reinstalling programs, emails and files, I certainly wasn't looking forward to the latest change to a Windows 11 machine.
Andy was a great help in initially identifying a new machine which suited my budget and then miraculously transferring all of my old stuff over to the new machine. All within 24 hrs.

The new PC is obviously much faster but more importantly the startup programs and desktop layout is the same totally familiar appearance to my old one.

Desktop transfer to laptop

We needed a new work PC to replace our outdated computer. We were guided through the process about how the data would be transferred from old PC to the new one and timescales given. As a business it was crucial this all worked, we handed our old PC in and the new Laptop was ready same day with no issues. I had a problem with my speakers on my laptop after down loading a spyware product, I took my laptop in and after 2-3 days it was all sorted and returned to me. I would highly recommend their services and if need again would happily do so.

A simple fix but beyond my skill set. Far cheaper than replacing a perfectly good laptop!

I installed a new power unit and a GPU but rewired it incorrectly so easy pc took the pc fixed the issue and did the diagnostics on it. I had to go again to install a motherboard which was just smooth of a process.

My daughter stood on her laptop and broke the hinges, lid and power inlet. Andy had a quick look and gave me a rough estimate of costs and work. He called me shortly after the same day to detail exactly what he needed to do and the cost. The work was carried out very quickly and to an excellent standard and I was kept informed of the progress all the way.

Re-setting a new laptop that I had recently purchased and fixed issues that were preventing SkyGo application from functioning properly on my new machine. Andrew provided a great service and persisted to resolve a tricky 'glitch' problem. Change from windows 10 to windows 11

Andy at Easy-PC transferred everything from my 15-year-old Toshiba to a new laptop. I was a bit worried about some of my files going astray but the transfer was done perfectly and everything was there and easy to access. The process was done overnight. I'm not at all technological but Andy took time to explain how he carried out the transfer. I never felt I was being rushed. I've already recommended Easy-PC to someone who has just moved to Haddington.

This was the first time that I had used Easy PC in Haddington and I was very impressed. The speed, quality of service and cost of the required repair was excellent. I will certainly use again in the future.

I went to Easy PC for a new desktop computer, since my previous machine had reached the end of its useful life. I am not comfortable with modern technology and do not understand the jargon. Andy discussed my requirements in terms which I could understand, and within four days had provided me with a new computer, set it up for me, and copied my existing files on to it. I found the service extremely professional and very courteous throughout, and would unreservedly recommend this business to others.

My computer was very unreliable and slow. Andy recommended a new one which I find is fantastic. He copied across and installed all my files which I would have found difficult to do as well as installing a couple of programs including a security package which he recommended which seems to be working well. Afterwards I did have difficulty with a small number of files not being transferred but he gave me immediate assistance over the internet and then in-person and fixed this. The files had been stored in a useually inaccessable part of the disc. I had a few teeting problems with the new Windows 11 package but he patiently helped me. I would highly recommend Easy-pc.

I consulted Easy PC as my desktop computer was clearly suffering from old age and I needed advice on whether it could be improved or I should consider new equipment. Given the advent of Windows 11 and the fact that my computer was too old to use this I accepted that the time had come to buy a new desktop.

I discussed the options available and, having priced the cost of what I needed elsewhere, I was happy to purchase a custom built desktop from Easy PC. The price included the transfer of data from my old machine to the new one and additional advice on things that will be of benefit to me when using my new machine.

I've used the services of Easy PC a couple of times now and have on each occasion been happy with the service provided. The most recent scenario required the resurrection of an obsolete model MacBook Pro. The repair could not be completed at Easy PC and required to be sent away by them to a specialist repairer. This resulted in the repair being somewhat more expensive than I hoped but I was still delighted that it was repairable at all. Very happy with service provided by Easy PC throughout.
