Not being the most technical person, I contacted Andy to transfer all the info on my old laptop to a new one. Andy explained what he would do and the timescale was excellent, i.e. one day.

I have used Easy PC twice now. The first time when I spilt coffee on my laptop and the second when it stopped working for no reason and was making an awful noise. Each time they replied to my emails quickly and were able to carry out a repair within days at a reasonable cost. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I haven't used a PC repair service before. I called Andy ( passed the shop when closed and took down the phone number) Andy couldn't have been more friendly and helpful . He discussed some of the potential issues I may have but advised he was likely to have the solutions I took my laptop over the same day I spoke with him and he had it wiped and in perfect working order a few hours later . One day my desktop computer suddenly started going through its start-up sequence over and over again without actually starting., while issuing a warning about the dangerous condition of a hard drive. I called Easy PC, Haddington, desperate because the machine is essential for daily business use. They took it in for repair the same day, diagnosed the problem that afternoon, repaired it next morning and called to say it was ready for collection in the afternoon, a frankly astonishing display of speed and efficiency. The cost was a fraction of what I expected. First-class service. Look no further if you have computer problems.

Our old PC had packed in and Alan at Easy PC helped us buy a new laptop. We are not very technical but Alan explained everything in simple terms. He also helped us with security which is working out to be much cheaper than what we used on our PC and transferred over our data to the new laptop free of charge. This was all done on the same day we initially went into the shop. We would definitely recommend Easy PC.

Our printer wasn't connecting to our laptop. EasyPC found a solution and had the devices returned to us in working order within a few hours. They followed up to check that we were still happy with the work carried out. Given our experience, we are happy to recommend EasyPC.

I asked Andy to build a fast desktop PC for photo editing and possible future video rendering. He built such a PC to my rough specification and within my budget. The whole project was completed within two weeks - well impressed. It is working well so I would recommend Easy PC.

My old HP desktop finally gave up the ghost, just at the same time that my long-standing computer support had to withdraw through ill health. Easy PC provided a new tower computer, and cloned the original hard drive on to the new. I was amazed to find that when I reconnected all the wires, everything was just as it always was, except quicker and without the hiccups I had been increasingly experiencing. So I would give 10/10 for the quality of service, and ditto for courtesy and helpfulness. I shall certainly use again, if necessary.

Being of an age where I have experienced many computer changeovers and the accompanying days of reinstalling programs, emails and files, I certainly wasn't looking forward to the latest change to a Windows 11 machine.
Andy was a great help in initially identifying a new machine which suited my budget and then miraculously transferring all of my old stuff over to the new machine. All within 24 hrs.

I installed a new power unit and a GPU but rewired it incorrectly so easy pc took the pc fixed the issue and did the diagnostics on it. I had to go again to install a motherboard which was just smooth of a process.

My daughter stood on her laptop and broke the hinges, lid and power inlet. Andy had a quick look and gave me a rough estimate of costs and work. Re-setting a new laptop that I had recently purchased and fixed issues that were preventing SkyGo application from functioning properly on my new machine. Andy at Easy-PC transferred everything from my 15-year-old Toshiba to a new laptop. I was a bit worried about some of my files going astray but the transfer was done perfectly and everything was there and easy to access. The process was done overnight. I'm not at all technological but Andy took time to explain how he carried out the transfer. I never felt I was being rushed. I went to Easy PC for a new desktop computer, since my previous machine had reached the end of its useful life. I am not comfortable with modern technology and do not understand the jargon. My computer was very unreliable and slow. Andy recommended a new one which I find is fantastic. He copied across and installed all my files which I would have found difficult to do as well as installing a couple of programs including a security package which he recommended which seems to be working well. Afterwards I did have difficulty with a small number of files not being transferred but he gave me immediate assistance over the internet and then in-person and fixed this. The files had been stored in a useually inaccessable part of the disc. I had a few teeting problems with the new Windows 11 package but he patiently helped me. I would highly recommend Easy-pc.

I have used Easy PC a couple of times. Once to replace a faulty hard drive in a desktop machine, and more recently to replace a broken laptop screen. Both times we discussed the detail of what needed to happen, how much the repairs were likely to cost, whether this meant they would be cost-effective, and how long they would take.

I consulted Easy PC as my desktop computer was clearly suffering from old age and I needed advice on whether it could be improved or I should consider new equipment. I've used the services of Easy PC a couple of times now and have on each occasion been happy with the service provided. The most recent scenario required the resurrection of an obsolete model MacBook Pro. The repair could not be completed at Easy PC and required to be sent away by them to a specialist repairer. This resulted in the repair being somewhat more expensive than I hoped but I was still delighted that it was repairable at all. Very happy with service provided by Easy PC throughout.

My laptop was going slower and slower so I took it to Mr Easy PC. He could easily have sold me a new laptop but he looked at mine and installed a new hard drive which has transformed the performance at a fraction of the cost of a new one. In every way the service was excellent, fast and the whole experience was pleasant and I felt very well cared for by a gentleman who really knows what he is doing. Mr Easy PC is an absolute expert. We were locked out of our I pad upon which we have come to heavily rely upon. We happened upon Easy P. C. and left our useless device to be fixed. For a modest fee in the space of a few hours the problem had been solved. I was much impressed and thoroughly recommend them.

Andy recovered and re-set my operating system and left me with lots of tips and help going forward to help in the future.
