Drever Joinery

We have used Drever Joinery for years. From a new kitchen fitting, whole downstair house remodel and a salon refit. Great service all around from Scott and his team.
They are perfectionists so be able to trust a tradesmen to do everything to such a high standard and finish takes so much stress away from any job for the customer!

Scott, the owner, is an extremely skilled joiner and is very professional. He is polite, friendly, and very approachable. His finish of the doors is second to none. All was completed to a very high standard and within the agreed time frame. My doors look amazing, and I would not hesitate to recommend Scott and his team.

Scott (Drever joinery) had completed a large renovation of our house. This included removing a wall and installing a beam before installing our kitchen. He also redid the entire upstairs of the house which required fully stripped out and all new partitions, 3 new velux windows and new insulation to be installed. Scott also did built in storage for the 3 upstairs rooms.
Scott managed all the other trades people, rearranged the work plan when injuries or sickness got in the way, making sure progress was constantly made.
His work is very neat and as we were living in the house with a young child, he made sure that it was clean everyday when he left.
He takes massive pride in his work and his attention to detail is excellent.
On top of this he is a really nice guy and explains things well and has a great sense of humour and an upbeat attitude.

Courteous and professional from assisting with sourcing quality windows for council application to removal of old windows and installing new windows and building an improved surround. Highly recommended for quality workmanship of joinery and recommending and fitting most appropriate blinds to finish off the work.

We were recommended to use Scott for his services by our architect for a full renovation of our top floor flat in Edinburgh. This project was large scale: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and hallway (Scott turned a box room into a bathroom!).
We worked with Scott for about a year and a half. Scott is very friendly and trustworthy and we found we could ask him for advice about what we should do for certain things, additionally, he was very patient with us as we didn’t know a lot about anything..! He was in constant contact during the project and would send photos regularly as we weren’t able to get to the flat as often as we would have liked. Scott’s joinery was of a very high quality and we reaped the benefits of this as we had custom window seats and cupboards made. He was particular about the finish of his work and has left the flat looking great.
There were a few frustrations along the way with timings and getting everyone we needed on the same agenda, however, Scott was very helpful and pushed the project along. Additionally our end price wasn’t the original quote, however, we did have more work done than planned and due to Brexit materials cost more; Scott was very transparent about this.
We would work with Scott again on future projects and highly recommend him! Thank you for making us a lovely home

This is the second time Scott has done work at my home. He does a good job, hard worker, reasonable quotes, good 'after sales service' and that's a big plus, IMO.

I highly recommend Scott - he oversaw and worked on a massive reworking of my house involving an extension, new dormers, new staircase and a few new walls(!) He was meticulous in providing a clear estimate, sourced great tradespeople for all the different aspects of the job and despite all the issues this year has thrown at us, it looks amazing now! We will be using him again for any joinery too: he's very professional showed great initiative throughout and the kitchen, floors and bespoke cupboards in the eaves upstairs are of the highest standard. Scott put down new flooring for us in the whole of the downstairs of our house. He also hung new doors for us.
There are other jobs still to be agreed, hoping for a new kitchen after lockdown.

Mr Drever stripped back our old kitchen and flooring with the minimum of disruption and mess.
The new units and flooring arrived as scheduled and Scott began work soon after. His workmanship and attention to detail were top class and he always kept us updated on his progress. There was only one major drawback/problem but that was nothing to do with Scott but with the kitchen planner. Scott came up with a solution and the problem was resolved without much delay to the job completion.
Scott knows his stuff and I would recommend him to anyone considering a kitchen overhaul or any domestic joinery work.

Scott did an excellent job in replacing an old, worn out kitchen, laminate flooring, doors and windows and helping to modify and update a bathroom. Very accommodating and easy to talk to.

Excellent work installing our kitchen - really good job and looks stunning. Have subsequently used to build a wardrobe and install a new door, both of which were great jobs.
