Derek has done a number of jobs for us over the years, most recently replacing and adding new power sockets and light switches. He’s always punctual, thorough and reliable as well as considerate towards us and the house. As our go-to electrician we’d always recommend him.

I needed a kitchen light changed from a pendant bulb to a bright strip light in my brother’s house in Tranent. I found a few electricians on google -Derek stood out with his helpful and understanding response. Having been to see the work required and met my brother (a dementia sufferer) he informed me of best options and prices. I live in Glasgow so couldn’t be present but Derek did a wonderful job fitting the light, keeping my brother informed, and keeping me informed. Very pleasant, tidy worker and reasonable price range. He also came out on a Sunday to check the light when a carer reported it flickering. There was nothing wrong with the light and Derek made sure to reassure my brother and myself. Great guy
