Flat roof renovated

Very professional, due to the severe wet weather and frequent rainy days they put off the job until they could get a run of a few days. They removed the old flat roof and replaced with a new one including a large roof light. We’re on site from start to finish, explaining how the job was going as it went along. The final bill was as per their quotation.
Will use them again.

I required a repair job to the roof of an old house. Ian was knowledgeable about the structure of old properties which made me feel confident that I had the right people for the job. The work was carried out with minimum disruption. Tidying up and removal of old parts was done as promised and the finished result looks like a very thorough smart job.

Genuine trader who is only interested in providing a quality service at a reasonable price in my experience! We asked A&I to diagnose a damp issue we are having with our house, they gave very frank and genuine advice on the state of our roof and simply recommended a few roof vents to help the roof breathe.

Provided an accurate quote and delivered upon the work in a timely manner, not sure what more you could ask for.

We had some storm damage and contacted the company on the weekend. They came first thing on Monday morning and fixed immediately. Storm (Arwen) damaged large brick chimney stack on the verge of collapsing through our roof. Promptly made safe by AI. Then reduced in size along with its twin stack the other side of our cottage. New pots were stuck on for good looks. Swift no fuss good workmanship.

We use A&I roofing for all of our property clients here in St Andrews, although the company is well out of the area I find it's worth doing so as pricing versus good quality work just makes sense to us.
They have great contact with our customers which reflects well on our business.
Their work is competent and to a high standers and we have never had any problems or snagging.

The underlying roofing woodwork and tiling were replaced.The area around the house was thoroughly tidied up after the work was completed. I cannot begin to describe the improvement this has made to the physical appearance of my property.

I had several quotes in for work on my Grade 2 listed building and although all the quotes were all roughly the same Ian explained everything to me in simple terms and put me at ease . He has stripped, replaced all the rotten timber and re slated a section of roof and it’s beautiful . All original lead work saved and put back on . He also replaced all the slipped slates, cleaned out the gutters and make sure everything is ok for the foreseeable.

Ian and his team stripped and reslated a roof for me in Montrose. Work carried out to a high standard, very punctual and tidy workers. Would use again if needed.

Work included checking and sealing cast iron gutters, recommending and fitting hedgehog brushes in gutters, repairing and re-fitting downpipes, external repointing of a chimney breast, and re-fitting a few loose tiles.

I had the roof repaired in my parents property after the recent storms. I called Ian who visited their property the same day. He tell called to discuss the work that was required and the costs involved.

The work was carried out the following week as planned, the team that carried out the work were fantastic and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The standard of work carried out excellent and all debris was tidied up before they left the house.
