N&B Calder were very professional and considerate throughout, providing constructive guidance and suggestions where required. Would highly recommend this small independent company for all headstone inscriptions.

We arranged for our village war memorial to be repainted. It was a couple of weeks before Remembrance Day that we contacted them and we thought it unlikely they would manage to do the work before the parade. However, there’s still a few days to go and the job is complete. Thanks.

We were looking for a memorial for my late brother in-law. I contacted them and asked if we could have the AFC logo engraved on it also a tractor mower. Within a few days they got back to us with a picture of what they designed. Within 6-8 weeks the Memorial was erected and is absolutely beautiful and is what we asked for. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

We requested an additional engraving to an existing gravestone after a sudden family bereavement. The work was carried out incredibly quickly, which was of huge comfort, and the service was discreet, sympathetic and professional. I would recommend Esther and the team wholeheartedly.

I had my grandmother and father's grave stone restored and the lettering renewed. On enquiring with N&B Calder Limited about this job I sent a photograph of the grave stone showing its deteriation over the years. It had been in the grave yard since 1934. When speaking to the staff they were very polite, attentive and positive about restoring the grave stone to a high standard. I was advised that the work would be carried out within 8 weeks and also advised of the cost at this time. As a result of all of the above positivity I was very impressed and had no hesitation in requesting their business. About a fortnight later I attended at the grave to lay a flower, for what would have been my grandmother's birthday, to find that the work had aready been carried out. I was so impressed with the restoration of the grave stone. Considering it had been there for nigh on 90 years, it looks like new. What a great job N&B Calder have done. At this time, my mobile telephone rang and, ironically, it was N&B Calder advising me that the work had been completed that day (my grandmother's birthday!!). I had no hesitation in telling them of my satisfaction and gratitude regarding the work they had carried out. GREAT JOB!! I'm so impressed that I advised them that if they wished they could use the before and after photographs for their website/catalogue to let others see what a transformation they have made of the grave stone. Overall the staff, cost and the work carried out were all great and I thank them very much for this and I will definitely use them again, if the need arises. I highly recommend N&B Calder to any who is looking to have similar work carried out on a grave stone, you won't be disappointed. I am one very satisfied customer.
