Painting of exterior of big old (Victorian) house - front, (huge) gable and shed frontage. Front door, shed door and timber of barge-board, fascia etc painted and fixed where necessary. Down-pipes etc painted and fixed where necessary. Came in under budget estimate, but the work was clearly done with great care, and we were kept well informed all the time. Turned up on time + when they said they would, and they were right about the weather... which was astonishingly and conveniently good. Hard to find a painter these days, and we're not really local, having been here for only 30 years, hence pleased to find this Trusted Traders page and a reliable and honest painter. Worked *really* hard, both of them, and there was a lot to get done. House looks masses better, and would highly recommend Ralph and Gordon, who can do joiner-type work, masonry, plumbing and gutter work as they go, too. Excellent. And they visibly and clearly made such a good job of it that our neighbours got them to do some work too.

Outside painting: Delighted with job, 5*. Would thoroughly recommend.

I contacted Mr Russell last summer to paint the iron railings on my property. Having seen that the work was carried out in an efficient manner, I asked Mr Russell to paint interior rooms in my house. All work was carried out in an efficient and reliable manner by a top class painter. Would highly recommend.

We had the exterior of our house painted. The estimate issued was very competitive. The workmen took great care with the work they did and we are delighted with the finished article. We would definitely use this company again.

Work being carried out was refurbishment of garden wall, consisting of 8 double sided pillars, wrought iron railings and 1 large and 1 small gate. Four of the pillars were recently re-roughcast and required special treatment prior to painting. Iron work was cleaned, scraped and prepared with undercoating then finished with 2 coats of Hammerite. Walls and pillars were with colour matching my house. All the work was carried out to a very high, professional standard and I am very pleased with the result.
