I can't speak more highly of Balhousie! They've been fantastic.
We needed a new door so booked a quote and they come round the house, brought the catalogues and measured up. There was so much choice but after picking the right one for us, needing it to be wheelchair accessible we were excited for the result.

We picked a slam door locking door which has a bar rather than handle and it's made the door so much easier, it arrived earlier than planned so we were offered installation a couple days early which we took up.
The installer came and was really friendly and did a great quality job. He went above and beyond with his work, he even lifted some of the slabs by the door and angled them so they were more accessible for my wife's wheelchair making entry from the doorway inside the house smoother, we couldn't have been happier with him.
We came across an issue with opening the door which was no fault of the door but my wife's muscle condition made it turning the lock a problem which none of us knew to plan for, so the Balhousie team helped us with options to come up with a solution.

We settled on a product called a Nuki which Balhousie installed for us and it solved everything, now we can open the door with the push of a button.

The team has made our home's entry more accessible in many ways now, from lowering our threshold and slabs, to providing a wider to our previous door, to the slam door locking and bar handle, and even helping us upgrade our door locking system.

If you're looking for a beautiful and well made door and have any sort of mobility issues, Balhousie have been so helpful and I'm glad we went with them.

The prep before, the actual installation and the follow up was all well done and well organised. A small blip on the installation as the weather forced a second installation date and team but it was all sorted quickly and without any great delay.

Work on the installation has been done to a high standard with zero 'snags' or complaints from us. The guys were full on for all the time they were here.

Highly recommend the company and would certainly use again.
